Since the viewing window 9 of the outer box 8 is formed at a position where the transparent part 2 is viewed, the outer circumferential wall surface of the washing and spin-drying tub 3 and the inner circumferential wall surface of the water-catching tub 1 can directly be viewed through the transparent part 2 from the window 9, and the sticking state of dirt component or detergent dregs contained in the laundry 13 and stuck to the outer circumferential wall surface and the inner circumferential wall surface can be visually confirmed through the window 9.
