SOLUTION: The display surface of the light guiding display plate 1 and the light receiving surface of a solar battery 3 are overlapped. Power generated by the solar battery panel 3 by receiving the reaching light is charged to a secondary battery 5 and the power is supplied from the secondary battery 5 to a lighting device 6 and a timer 7. At night, the lighting device 6 is operated and a straight tube type fluorescent lamp 2 is lighted. The light emitted from the straight tube type fluorescent lamp 2 is made incident from the end face of the light guiding display plate 1 and reaches the other end while being multi-reflected inside the light guiding display plate 1, and during the time, the light exposed to a display part 4 printed on the back surface of the light guiding display plate 1 and formed by paint is diffused and reflected, emitted from the surface side of the light guiding display plate 1 to the outside of this display device and visualized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a washing machine where dirt, etc., stuck to the inside of a water-receiving tub and the outer circumferential wall surface of a washing and dehydrating tub, or the rear surface of a stirring blade, and the bottom surface of the water-receiving tub can efficiently be washed by enabling a user to recognize the dirt.
      SOLUTION: In an outer box 8, a water-receiving tub 1 in which a washing and spin-drying tub 3 is rotatably provided is arranged. The laundry 13 is thrown into the washing and dehydrating tub 3. At least at part of the water-receiving tub 1, a transparent part 2 of the water-receiving tub is formed of a transparent member through which the outer circumferential wall surface of the washing and dehydrating tub 3 is viewed. Thus a viewing window 9 for viewing the transparent part of the water-receiving tub consisting of the transparent member is formed. Since the viewing window 9 of the outer box 8 is formed at a position where the transparent part 2 is viewed, the outer circumferential wall surface of the washing and spin-drying tub 3 and the inner circumferential wall surface of the water-catching tub 1 can directly be viewed through the transparent part 2 from the window 9, and the sticking state of dirt component or detergent dregs contained in the laundry 13 and stuck to the outer circumferential wall surface and the inner circumferential wall surface can be visually confirmed through the window 9.

By cool or warm air sent from the air-conditioning means, at the same time, air-conditioning is executed actually. Accordingly, a sense of being cooled or warmed is made to be held as an image in the feeling of a man through the sense of vision and thereby cooling or heating can be supplemented in terms of the sense. Since a temperature is varied also actually by the air-conditioning, comfortable air-conditioning can be realized and also a contribution can be made for energy saving.

The power supply means 6 is utilized as a power source for the ventilating means 5.
