摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cleaner which has a cyclone dust collecting apparatus with a reduced size, can readily remove dust or the like stuck on a filter in a cyclone whirl chamber, and has high dust removal efficiency. SOLUTION: The electric cleaner includes a cyclone dust collecting apparatus 6 having a cyclone whirl chamber 9 of a substantially cylindrical shape for whirling sucked air and dust, a cyclone exhaust port 14 for exhausting air from the cyclone whirl chamber 9 in which dust is separated and removed, an internal cylindrical filter 16 fitted to the inside of the cyclone whirl chamber 9 from the cyclone exhaust port 14 side, an annular dust removing member 25 provided on the peripheral part of the cyclone exhaust port 14. The internal cylindrical filter 16 is provided at the cyclone whirl chamber 9 so as to be inserted therein and drawn out therefrom, and the surface of the internal cylindrical filter 16 makes slide contact with the dust removing member 25 when it is inserted and drawn out, and drawing out the internal cylindrical filter 16 from the cyclone whirl chamber 9 scrapes the dust on the cylindrical filter 16. In this case, because the underside of the inlet port body 10 is provided with running wheels 20a-20d, the person, who conducts cleaning, can move the inlet port body 10 left and right by a little force as he straightens himself. Further, a rotating brush drive motor 16 is operated by the switch provided at the operating part 8 on hand according to the state of the floor face to turn the rotating brush 14 to suck dust.

In the case of a soft object such as a carpet, energizing force to the lower part by the spring 31 is strong, the displacement quantity to the upper part against the wheels of the contact 28 is small and the radiant ray is not shielded. In the case the floor surface is hard such as a bare board floor, the wheels and the contact 28 become the same plane, the contact 28 ascends against the wheels, and the radiant ray is shielded.

The user of the cleaner changes the paper pack 6 full of dusts, according to the alarm, and again starts the operation of the cleaner.
