SOLUTION: The light emitted from a fluorescent lamp 9 reaches a diffusing plate 15 through the following three paths. On the first path, the light is projected downward from the tube wall of the fluorescent lamp 9, it is reflected upward by a V-shaped reflector 10 and guided into a light guide plate 1, and it proceeds in the light guide plate 1 to reach the diffusing plate 15. On the second path, the light is projected upward from the tube wall of the fluorescent lamp 9, it is fed into the light guide plate 1 from the face of a groove 8 for the fluorescent lamp 9, it is reflected downward by the diffusion reflecting material 12 of a V-shaped reflecting groove 11, and it proceeds in the light guide plate 1 to reach the diffusing plate 15. On the third path, the light is projected in the right and left directions from the tube wall of the fluorescent lamp 9, it is fed into the light guide plate 1 through the face of the guide 8 for the fluorescent lamp 9, and it proceeds in the light guide plate 1 to reach the diffusing plate 15.

    • PURPOSE:To easily remove a cover without falling down on a floor, if not supported by hand, by having the first protrusion of the cover latched by the second protrusion of an equipment mainframe when a cover fitting is operated to release the cover from being latched. CONSTITUTION:A lighting equipment is so constructed that, when a cover fitting 28 provided on the equipment mainframe 21 is operated to release a cover 26 from being latched by a latch 31, the cover 26 may fall down by its weight and by removed from the equipment mainframe. The cover 26 has the first protrusion 35 protruded sideways from the side wall, and the equipment mainframe 21 has the second protrusion 36 which is protruded by being energized from the side wall to the first protrusion 35 side to latch the first protrusion 35 of the cover 26, falling when removed from the equipment mainframe, and escaped to the side wall by being thrusted by the first protrusion 35 when the latched cover 26 is pulled down. The cover 26 falls down when the cover fitting 28 is operated to release the latch of the equipment mainframe 21, but is free from fall-down on a floor because, on its way, the first protrusion 35 is latched by the second protrusion 36.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To radiate heat of an LED bulb by bringing the LED bulb into contact with the component of a luminaire to cause heat conduction from the contact part to the luminaire.
      SOLUTION: This luminaire 400 is equipped with a luminaire body 300, a light source mounting fixture 100, and LED light source bodies 200, and is mounted to a luminaire mounting plate 310. The LED light source body 200 is formed by disposing an LED 203 on a substrate 202 in the shape of a circular flat plate. The light source mounting fixture 100 takes shape of a hat, and is combined with the luminaire body by a flange 104. When the base 201 of the LED light source body 200 is mounted to the lampholder 321 of a socket 320 by rotating it, the substrate 202 of the LED light source body 200 is brought into contact with the plane part 102 of the light source mounting fixture 100. Thereby, heat of the LED light source body 200 is radiated by being conducted to the light source mounting fixture 100 and the luminaire body 300.
