SOLUTION: The manufacturing apparatus 20 of the optical fiber structure 10 in which a block-shaped chip 12 is connected to an optical fiber 11a includes: a chip holding part 23; a fiber holding part 22; a moving parts 24 to 26 which relatively move the block-shaped chip 12 held by the chip holding part 23 and the optical fiber 11a held by the fiber holding part 22 so that they contact on the same axis; a heating part 27 which heats the block-shaped chip 12 and the optical fiber 11a; and an axial position relation observation part 31 which observes the axial position relation from the chip end opposed to the chip end of the side connected to the fiber of the block-shaped chip 12 to the chip end of the side connected to the fiber of the block-shaped chip 12 and the fiber end of the optical fiber 11a.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector structure that suppresses damage to a light incident end face of an optical fiber by a laser beam and that makes the laser beam enter the optical fiber free of leakage.
      SOLUTION: The optical connector structure C includes: an optical fiber 100 in which a quartz tip 120 is integrally installed in the laser beam incident end; a ferrule 200 in which a part containing the quartz tip 120 of the optical fiber 100 is inserted and in which this part of the optical fiber is fixedly held; and a receptacle 21 which is installed in a manner covering the ferrule 200 and which includes a large diameter hole 21b formed on the aperture side and a small diameter hole 21a formed in the depth side continuously to the large diameter hole. The ferrule 200 is such that its tip end 210 is inserted into the small diameter hole 21a of the receptacle 21 and that its rear body part 211 is inserted into the large diameter hole 21b of the receptacle 21.
