    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure that is easily attached to or detached from the optical fiber core and does not touch one end of the optical fiber core, in a terminal protector for protecting one end of the optical fiber core.SOLUTION: The terminal protector 1 of the optical fiber core includes a protective cover 7, a rubber sheet 5, and a clip 3. The protective cover 7 has an opening 47 capable of passing the optical fiber core 11 from the radial direction. The rubber sheet 5 is stacked on the rear end of the protective cover 7 so as to be along the inner surface. The clip 3 is mounted to the protective cover 7 by gripping a stacking/gripping section 7a of the protective cover 7. In the protective cover 7, the opening 47 of the stacking/gripping section 7a opens or closes in response to opening/closing of the clip 3. When the clip 3 grips the optical fiber core 11 via the rubber sheet 5, a part in front of the stacking/gripping section 7a is prevented from touching the optical fiber core 11 in a state where the stacking/gripping section 7a is fixed to proximity of the tip 31 of the optical fiber core 11.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten working hours in banding an annular part of a linear member with a banding tool for banding the annular part in the linear member whose at least a portion thereof is wound in an annular shape. SOLUTION: A fiber clip 2 includes a sheet-like member 12 having flexibility. First and second holes 22 and 32 are formed in the sheet-like member 12 so as to be separated from each other, and a cut line 42 is formed between the first and second holes 22 and 32, so that the first and second holes 22 and 32 are interconnected. By inserting the annular part 11a of the linear member 11 into the first and second holes 22 and 32 via the cut line 42, the annular part 11a of the linear member 11 is banded while the sheet-like member 12 is deflected.
