SOLUTION: In the wave absorber 1, a porous structure is formed by a rubber composite where conductive carbon black of a wave absorption material is mixed with material nitrile rubber. A carbon fiber, a fire-resistant application fill, cross linking agent and foaming agent are mixed in the rubber composite. A heating processing for re-constructing a structure of conductive carbon black is performed on the porous structure.

SOLUTION: 100 pts.wt. of a polyolefin selected from among ultralow-density polyethylenes, low-density polyethylenes, linear low-density polyethylenes, ethylene-methyl acrylate copolymers, etc., is blended with 0.1-5 pts.wt. of a dialkyl peroxide and 0.01-2 pts.wt. of an aliphatic amide to prepare an insulating resin composition. The dialkyl peroxide suitably includes dicumyl peroxide and 2,5-dimethyl-2,5-di(t-butylperoxy)hexane-3. Further, suitable aliphatic amide embraces oleamide and lauramide. By using the resin composition thus obtained, it is possible to obtain an insulating material for power cables excellent in dielectric properties.
