摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction of an air flow sensor at the time of deceleration and control opening/closing of a bypass valve with a proper timing by controlling operation of an actuator which opens/closes the bypass valve based on an opening of a throttle valve or a pressure in an intake pipe. CONSTITUTION:A bypass passage 22 is arranged such that its upstream side end is communicated with an intake pipe 14 at an upstream side portion compared to a pump impeller of a turbo supercharger, while its downstream side end is communicated with the intake pipe 14 at a portion between the pump impeller 17 and a throttle valve 19. The bypass passage is opened or closed by means of an actuator 39 through a bypass valve 40. An opening of a throttle valve 19 is detected by sensors 36, 37, while a pressure in the intake pipe 14 at a portion between the pump impeller 17 and the throttle valve 19 is detected by a sensor 41. The operation of the actuator 39 is controlled by means of an electronic control unit 34 based on detected signals from the sensors 36, 37, 41.

SOLUTION: Based on engine-starting temperature related to the atmosphere temperature of an oxygen sensor 17 being detected by the oxygen sensor 17 for detecting an oxygen concentration in discharged gas, a heater 17A for heating the oxygen sensor 17 by receiving current and generating heat, and a temperature detection means 19, the temperature difference between the engine temperature on the last running end and that on present starting is calculated by a temperature difference calculation means 23B. Using a heater control means 23A, when the temperature difference is equal to or higher than a specific temperature difference for a specific period after starting, current is supplied by a first current supply mode. On the other hand, when the temperature difference is lower than the specific temperature difference, the current is supplied by a second current supply mode with less amount of supply than that of the first current supply mode, thus heating the heater 17A.

The regulating means is formed of an expanded piece 21b integrally formed at the rotating shaft and enlarged in the radial direction, a contact wall 24 formed at the valve body so as to support the expanded piece 21b slidably in contact, and an elastic energizing member 33 for energizing the expanded piece 21b so as to come in contact with the contact wall 24.

On the other hand, a real valve opening value is found out on the basis of a valve opening detection signal from a valve opening detection circuit 7 composed of a Hall sensor or the like, and thereby comparison with the valve opening and the target opening is carried out. As a result, a driving circuit 6 composed of a DC motor or the like is driven when the actual valve opening is different from the target opening. When it is judged that the valve driving circuit 6 or the valve opening detecting circuit 7 is in an abnormal condition, the opening position of a valve 5 is controlled to the full closing or full opening position.

Each of the solenoid valves 92 and 93 is duty-controlled by an ECU 23, and it controls engine output by controlling a throttle opening degree of a throttle valve 7 according to a driving state of a vehicle irrespective of an accel opening degree of an accel pedal 100. When the engine output is controlled in this way irrespective of the accel opening degree, auxiliary air control by the dush pot control device is prohibited during the above control so as to accurately control the engine output.
