摘要： PURPOSE:To control repeat of a driving process and initialization positioning by deciding the changed of turning-on/off signal received from a rotation sensor in the driving process of a DC motor by a DC motor type positioning device. CONSTITUTION:An output shaft 15 of a DC motor 13 of the positioning device is connected to a variable intake control valve 11 through a power transmission path 16. In such constitution, the DC motor 13 is driven to control the degree of opening of the control valve 11. A rotation sensor 15 is provided with a ring magnet 27a fixed to the peripheral surface of a revolving shaft 20. When the ring magnet 27a is rotated to a magnetic probe 29a, the signal from the rotation sensor 25 is outputted in a pulse mode as turning-on and turning-off signals. The change from the turning-on state to the turning-off state or from the turning-off state to the turning-on state of the output signal from the rotation sensor 25 is decided in the initializing process, and repeat of the process or initialization of positioning is controlled.

摘要： PURPOSE:To keep the variation of a targetted numerical value within a prescribed numerical value range even in the case of the variance of a control input by updating a target value at the time when the target value is deviated from the actual numerical value of an object by a prescribed value or more in a DC motor type positioning device. CONSTITUTION:An output shaft 15 of a DC motor 13 of a positioning device is connected to a variable intake control valve 11 through a power transmission path 16. A wheel 23 is engaged with a work gear 22 attached to the end part of a revolving shaft 20 and is attached to a valve shaft 24 of the variable intake control valve 11. In such constitution, the DC motor 13 is driven to control the degree of opening of the control valve 11. A rotation sensor 25 is provided with a ring magnet 27a fixed to the peripheral surface of the revolving shaft 20. When the ring magnet 27a is rotated to a magnetic probe 29a, the signal from the rotation sensor 25 is outputted pulse mode as turning-on and turning- off signals.

摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate judgement of failure by making a judgment as failure when an actual position of an object does not reach a targeted position within a predetermined period of time after start of an operation of a direct current motor type positioning device suitable for driving a variable intake control valve for making the length of an intake system of an internal combustion engine variable. CONSTITUTION:A variable intake system provided in an internal combustion engine is provided with a variable intake control valve 11 positioned immediately at the lower stream of a surge tank 10 of a main intake passage 2 and a bypass intake passage 12 for bypassing the valve 11 and the surge tank 10. A positioning device is incorporated for controlling a valve opening degree of this variable intake control valve 11. This positioning device makes the valve opening degree of the variable intake control valve 11 variable by means of an operation of a DC motor 13 through a power transmission path 16. In this case, a revolution number sensor 29b for detecting a revolution number of a rotation axis included in the power transmission path 16 is provided so as to acquire an actual position of the valve 11. And after start of the control operation of this positioning device, when the actual position of the valve 11 does not reach a targeted position within a predetermined period of time, a judgment is made as failure of the positioning device.
