      SOLUTION: The intake noise amplification device 30 of an engine for a vehicle comprises: the intake noise guide passage (oscillation generation pipe part 31, film oscillation part 33, and an oscillation transmission pipe part 35) of which one end communicates to an intake pipe 23 of the engine 20, and the other end communicates to a cowl box 10; the film oscillation part 33 oscillating the film by intake pulsation in an intake passage of the engine; and a cowl grille 12 having a communication hole 13 covering an upper part of a cowl box 10 and connecting the inside of the cowl box 10 to the outside of the vehicle. The cowl grille 12 is provided with the communication hole 13 near an opening part 37c of the intake sound guide passage.

In fixing the disk-like member 6 to the open end 4 of the member 2, for instance, zircon sand containing water-glass is at first charged into the inside 8 of the hollow member 2 and the nozzle 5 of the member 6 and after the hollow member 2 and the disk-like member 6 are fixed together with hardening of water-glass, they are convered with the metal 3 simultaneously by way of casting. Thus, since the disk-like member 6 made of sintered silicon nitride excellent in heat-insulating properties is fixed to the open end 4, it is enabled to prevent fusion loss at the portion.

A flat main wall surface 20c facing a cylinder block 6b of the surge tank 21 is provided with substantially uniform wall thickness. The main wall surface 20c diaphragm-vibrates by intake air pulsation to produce sound. The radiation sound is emitted into an engine room 4 through a radiation sound passing hole 35 formed in the first divided case part 18 and penetrated vertically.
