      SOLUTION: The rotating electric machine has an annular stator core 2, formed by laminating a plurality of electromagnetic steel plates 15 in a rotor shaft direction, and a case member 1 for holding the stator core 2. The rotating electric machine includes a fixing portion for fixing at least part of the outer circumferential portion of the stator core 2 to the case member; protruding portions 4, 4 for allowing at least part of the case member 1 to protrude from a rotor shaft direction end surface of the stator core 2; and a press-inserting member 5 to be press-inserted from the inside of a radial direction of the stator core 2 for the protruding portions 4, 4.

    • PURPOSE:To improve tensile strength of a shaft part and a connection of the shaft part and a flange by composing the shaft part and the part in the vicinity of the connection between the flange and shaft part of ceramic wherein reinforced fibers are arranged longitudinally, and orienting the reinforced fibers along the surface of the part in the vicinity of the connection. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic valve 15 has a shaft part 15b provided with a cotter groove 15a with which a spring seat is engaged on its upper part, and a shaft member 16 whose lower part extends to a part of a surface of a flange 15c. A part of the surface of the flange, which extends to the shaft part 15b through a neck part 15d, is coated with a shaft material 17. The flange 15c of the valve is made of a flange material 17 together with the shaft material 16. Reinforced fibers 5 are arranged in the shaft material 16 all over longitudinal direction, that is, from the upper part of the part where the cotter groove 15a is formed through the neck part 15d to a part of the surface of the flange 15c. Tensile strength is improved in the shaft 15b, the neck part 15d and the flange 15c.

    • PURPOSE:To increase mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, by molding the heater body of a ceramic heater of conductive glowing ceramic material, in a glow plug which is fitted to the wall of an auxiliary combustion chamber so as to be projected in the auxiliary combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic heater 2 has a bar type heater body 7 made of conductive glowing ceramic material. A non-oxidizable coating layer 10 of about 0.1mm thick, composed of such as silicon carbide (SiC) and silicon nitride (Si3N4) in order to inhibit oxidation of the heater body 7 contacting to the oxygen in atmosphere, is formed to coat the outer surface of a heater body 7 projecting from the end of a metallic sheath 3, by the method of ion plating or by CVD method. An Ni plating layer 11 is formed on the area of a heater body 7 where the non-oxidizable coating layer 10 is not formed. With the part on which the Ni plating layer 11 is formed being inserted into the hole 3a of the above- mentioned metallic sheath 3, the heater body 7 and the metallic sheath 3 are unitarily joined by a silver paste 12.
