    • PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a gas cutoff device by providing a large current circuit which supplies a current smaller than a current supplied to a cutoff valve driving circuit and composing this large current circuit of a display circuit. CONSTITUTION:The voltage across a battery 8 when an LED 11 illuminates is detected by a detecting circuit 9. At this time, the voltage is much higher than the operating guarantee voltage of a cutoff valve 7 at the time of control circuit backup operation, but becomes extremely low when the cutoff valve is driven and is sometimes lower than the operation guarantee voltage of the cutoff valve 7 when the LED 11 illuminates. When the LED 11 illuminates, the current is smaller than that of the cutoff valve 7, so it never becomes than that when the cutoff valve is driven, but a voltage drop similar to that when the cutoff valve is driven is caused. For the purpose, the voltage across the voltage 8 at the time of LED driving right before the voltage at the time of cutoff valve driving reaches the cutoff valve operation guarantee voltage is checked previously and the detection level of the circuit 9 is set to this voltage. Consequently, even when the battery 8 deteriorates too much to drive the cutoff valve 7, the LED 11 is turned on and the current voltage across the voltage 8 is detected by the circuit 9 to indicate that to a consumer by driving a display circuit 10.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent incorrect functioning even if chocks are inflicted from outside by fixing a rod of a nonmagnetic material on the side end part of an attraction surface of a plunger with its tip provided with a valve rubber. CONSTITUTION:Drilling a through hole in the center of an attraction piece 7, a nonmagnetic material rod 12 inserted through a through hole is fixed to the side end part of the attraction surface of a plunger 2 provided with a valve rubber 1. The tip of the rod is provided with a fixed piece 13 of a nonmagnetic material and having a larger diameter than that of the through hole. With this constitution, the fixed piece 13 provided on the rod 12 passing through and appearing out of a through hole of an attraction piece 4 plays a role of a stopper capable of restricting the travel of the plunger 2. Accordingly, there is no possibility of the plunger 2, the valve rubber 1, etc. jumping out even if a cutoff valve, when it is alone, incorrectly functions due to shocks.

    • PURPOSE:To improve a level in detection, by forming a projecting part on a mounting hole part of a valve member inserted into the mounting axis part of a movable iron core so that it fits in the lower end of a receiving-hole part in a valve-supporting member surrounding an outside of the mounting hole part. CONSTITUTION:A projecting part 15 fitted in the lower end of a receiving-hole part 7a in a valve-supporting member 7 is formed at a mounting hole part 9a of a valve member 9. The projecting part 15 of the valve member 9 is made about 0.1-0.3mm in height with a forming metal mold undercut. Because the projecting part 15 at the mounting hole part 9a is fitted from the lower side to the receiving-hole part 7a of the valve-supporting member 7 on the back surface of the valve member 9, an axis-directional motion at the inner diameter side of the valve member 9 can be stopped even while gas pressure being applied, to improve a level in detecting leakage. Hence, the valve member mounted at the mounting axis part of the movable iron core is prevented from moving in the axial direction, so that the detected level of leakage can be improved.
