    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rate-of-rise flow verifier which is substantially not influenced by rising pressure in a chamber.SOLUTION: The flow verifier includes a chamber 130 configured to receive a flow of fluid from a fluid delivery device under test (DUT) 110, at least one temperature sensor 180 to provide gas temperature in the chamber, at least one pressure transducer 170 to provide gas pressure in the chamber, and a critical flow nozzle 140 located upstream of the chamber along a flow path of the fluid from the DUT to the chamber. The critical flow nozzle and the flow verification process are configured to maintain the flow rate of the fluid through the nozzle at the critical flow condition, so that the flow rate through the nozzle during a specific flow verification period is substantially constant and substantially insensitive to any variation in pressure within the chamber downstream of the nozzle.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress influence of mischief utilizing a magnet in a pulse reader for receiving information from a gas meter by utilizing a magnetism detector of the gas meter, and a radio set for the gas meter.SOLUTION: A pulse reader includes: a read switch 12 for reading which is arranged on a position where a magnetism generator 510 enters into an ON area when the pulse reader 300 is attached to a gas meter 500; a read switch 14 for preventing mischief which is arranged on a position where the magnetism generator 510 does not enter into the ON area when the pulse reader 100 is attached to the gas meter 500; and a protection part 16 to be a physical barrier which enters into the ON area of the read switch 12 for reading and does not enter into the ON area of the read switch 14 for preventing mischief when the pulse reader 100 is attached to the gas meter 500 and prevents a magnetism generator other than the magnetism generator 510 for the gas meter 500 from being located on a protected area to be an area located on the outside of a casing of the gas meter 500.
