    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device which can stably light a discharge lamp in a high frequency under a lighting condition always suitable for its discharge lamp even if a stable lighting possible frequency range is different by the tolerance in manufacturing the discharge lamp or the stable lighting possible frequency range changes by a change with the elapse of time. SOLUTION: A lighting circuit 2 is provided with an arc variation detecting circuit 7 composed of a resistor 15 to detect a signal in proportion to a lamp current waveform and a peak change detecting circuit 16 to output a signal in proportion to a change in a peak value by detecting a change in a peak value of the lamp current waveform from a signal in proportion to the lamp current waveform and a lighting condition control circuit 8 to output a control signal to change a lighting frequency in the direction for reducing its change when the peak value of the lamp current waveform is changed. A lamp 1 is constituted so as to be lighted in a high frequency using 1kHz as the lower limit, and a lighting frequency is controlled so that the change in the peak value of the lamp current waveform is eliminated.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate distribution at any position in respective rooms by constituting a power distribution device of a distribution body, formed as construction members such as a floor, a wall, a ceiling, and the like, and a receiving body having connection pins connected to the respective power source layers of the distribution body. CONSTITUTION:The respective layers of a distribution body 1 are made of soft material in which a pin state can be wound into, and are constituted as ceiling members. A receiving body 2 is constituted of a connection pin 8 for a positive electrode and a connection pin 11 for a negative electrode, and both connection pins 8, 11 respectively have such lengths as a tip conductive contact portion 9 reaches the first power source layer (positive electrode) 6 of the distribution body 1, and the tip of the tip conductive contact portion 12 of the connection pin 11 reaches the second power layer (negative electrode) 4, when both connection pins 8, 11 are wound into the distribution body 1. The lengths of the conductive contact portions 9, 12 themselves are set to be shorter than the thickness of an insulating layer 5, and the peripheries of both connection pins 8, 11 are surrounded by an insulator so as not to short-circuit.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a discharge lamp lighting device wherein light can be dimmed in a wide range by transferring the discharge lamp, after it is lighted, stably to rated lighting while realizing miniaturization of the device by reducing energy of a high tension pulse for starting the discharge lamp. CONSTITUTION:Before lighting a discharge lamp 8, a transistor 27 is placed in an on-condition by an output signal from a lighting detecting circuit 29, to generated output voltage of the first DC power supply 20 in an output end of a voltage drop chopper circuit 2, and when the discharge lamp 8 is lighted, the transistor 27 is placed in an off-condition by the output signal from the lighting detecting circuit 29. Thus in the output end of the voltage drop chopper circuit 2, DC voltage almost equal to a lamp voltage value is generated. When the electric discharge lamp 8 is started thus in the above, the output voltage of the first DC power supply 20 for outputting voltage higher than the output voltage by the voltage drop chopper circuit 2 can be applied to the electric discharge lamp 8 through a bridge inverter circuit 13.
