The saddle 16 can be easily mounted to the existing basin 12, by positioning the saddle 16 alongside the basin 12. The check valve 10 can be visually inspected and checked from the upper side of the basin 12, by positioning the valve tube 22 and the valve body 28 inside of the basin 12.

      SOLUTION: The check valve 10 prevents the backflow of wastewater into an inflow port 102. The check valve is equipped with a valve seat 12, and installed in such a manner that an opening 14 of the valve seat faces the inflow port of the pit 100. For example, a bottom surface of the valve seat is formed in such a shape as to abut on the bottom of the pit, and the valve seat is provided with a valve body 24 for openably/closably closing the inner surface side of the opening. Additionally, a connecting portion 32 for connecting the valve seat and an abutting portion 34 together is formed in the upper portion of the valve seat, and a positional relationship between the valve seat and the abutting portion is fixedly maintained with the connecting portion. The abutting portion abuts on the inner surface of the riser portion 114 in the installation of the check valve in the pit, and regulates the direction of the valve seat with respect to the axial direction of the riser portion.

      SOLUTION: This closing tool 10 blocks a hole 52 formed on a main pipe 50 when a mounting pipe mounted to the main pipe 50 is removed, and includes a saddle 12, an upright pipe 14 and a lid 16. A bottom face of the saddle 12 is a joint face 18 to the main pipe 50. The upright pipe 14 is formed into a cylindrical shape with both ends opened, and communicates the hole 52 of the main pipe 50 with outside when the closing tool 10 is jointed with the main pipe 50. The lid 16 is provided to the upright pipe 14, and seals the openings of the upright pipe 14. When the closing tool 10 is jointed with the main pipe 50, a presser tool (30) is inserted inside the main pipe 50 from an opening of the upright pipe 14. Then, by drawing the presser tool (30) arranged inside and outside the main pipe 50 with a restraining tool (32), joint faces of the closing tool 10 and the main pipe 50 are pressure fitted with each other. Accordingly, when the closing tool is jointed with the main pipe, there is no need of wind an annealing wire around the main pipe, and therefore, there is no need of overbreak across the entire periphery of the main pipe.
