    • PURPOSE:To form the accurate internal threads on the inside surface of blank pipe through simple work by pressing the blank pipe with press swaging dies and pressure-contacting the same to a core metal. CONSTITUTION:A core metal 2 provided with external threads 3 corresponding to the internal threads to be formed on the inside of a blank pipe 1 is inserted into the blank pipe. The blank pipe 1 having been inserted with the core metal 2 is placed on a lower die 6 and the end face of the core metal 2 is contacted to a position- defining plate 8, whereby the positioning is accomplished. Pressing force F is acted to the ram 7 of a press machine to press the blank pipe 1 by the upper die 5 and lower die 6 of the press swaging dies. The blank pipe 1 is pressed in the central axis direction by the swaging forming parts 5a, 6a of the upper die 5 and lower die 6, then its inside surface makes pressure contact with the external threads 3 of the core metal 2 and deforms plastically, whereby the internal threads 9 corresponding to the external threads 3 are formed. Upon completion of the molding, the pressing force F is lowered, the positioning plate 8 is removed and the core metal 2 is rotated to be unscrewed off.

    • PURPOSE:To mass-produce a single flower vase having a beautiful surface, by inserting core metal in the head part of metal material and forming small diameter flower vase head carrying out contraction processing and then, forming large diameter flower vase head compressing in axis direction by applying a high liquid pressure in the tube and moreover, jointing the bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:The support cylinder 4 is inserted in the lower part of the metal material tube 1 and contraction processing of the upper part of the tube 1 is carried out by the contraction die 7A having tapered contraction part at the lower part of contraction hole, corresponding to the conical head part 5a of the core metal 5. Moreover, contraction processing is repeated in plural times by the contraction dies 7F... making contraction hole smaller successively and the head part of flower vase is formed decreasing its diameter. High liquid pressure is applied in the contraction processing tube and at the same time the lower part of the above tube is swollen by compressing in axis direction by the upper formation die 26A and the lower formation die 25A. Then, the flower vase drum part 35B increased its diameter, is formed repeating swelling processing in plural times and the single flower vase is obtained joining the bottom plate at the bottom part.

    • PURPOSE:To easily, efficiently carry out the upsetting work without giving the deformation to the pipe blank portion of the raw pipe, by alternately repeating necessary times the expanding work which is carried out giving an axial compression force to the pipe blank portion so as to make the compression stress to be lower than the yield stress of the material, and the drawing work for reducing the pipe diameter. CONSTITUTION:The raw pipe 12 is inserted into the guide bush 11; an oil pressure P1 is introduced to the upsetting cylinder 17 on purpose to move the cylinder 17 to the right; at the same time, the press head 15 is moved to the right by the reciprocator; and then, the press head 15 is further moved to the right under a condition that the tip face of the upsetting tool 16 is contacting with the end face of the raw pipe 12. The pressure P1 is settled so as to make the compression stress generated in the pipe blank portion 12b to be lower than the yield stress of the material. Hereby, the wall thickness of the expanded portion holds the original thickness or the approximate condition. Next, the drawing work for the expanded pipe 13 is carried out by the drawing apparatus, on purpose to restore the original diameter of the expanded pipe; hereby, this reduction in the diameter increases the wall thickness of the expanded portion, and then, the pipe with the upset end portion can be manufactured.
