    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle upper back structure that can simplify a configuration and also achieve lightweight, while securing the rigidity in the vicinity of a roof side inner.SOLUTION: The upper back structure is configured by: installing an upper back panel 15 between a pair of roof side inners 13; arranging a lateral reinforcement part 17 extended in a vehicle width direction in a front end side of the upper back panel 15; connecting both end sides to an end reinforcement part 19, respectively; and arranging a penetration opening penetrating in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle. The lateral reinforcement part 17 forms a plurality of lateral walls 29a-29c extending in the vehicle width direction by plurally curving the upper back panel 15 in the direction opposite to each other, and the lateral walls are disposed at the side of the penetration opening 23 from a top side wall 25 of the upper back panel 15. The end reinforcement part includes a plurality of end walls 31a-31c curved correspondingly to the plurality of lateral walls 29a-29c, and the lateral walls 29a-29c are connected with the end walls 31a-31c by wall surfaces, respectively.

      SOLUTION: In this hood stopper structure 10, brackets 28R, 28L projecting from the upper surface of a radiator support upper part 22 to the upper side of the vehicle body comprise ridge lines 30, 32 along the vertical direction of the vehicle body, respectively, and have high rigidity against a load in the vertical direction of the vehicle body. When impact loads are applied from the front of the vehicle body to the brackets 28R, 28L, these brackets absorb the impacts by being deformed to the rear of the vehicle body. Even if height dimensions of the brackets 28R, 28L are increased, the rigidity of the brackets 28R, 28L can be secured by the ridge lines 30, 32. Consequently, the hood stopper structure is adaptable to the aesthetic appearance of the vehicle (arrangement height of the hood).
