摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having excellent cold-setting property, by using a specific polysiloxane-based macro-monomer and an oxirane group- containing vinyl monomer as essential monomer components. CONSTITUTION:A dispersion stabilizer resin is produced by using (A) a polysiloxane-based macro-monomer containing >=2 free functional groups per one molecule, having a number-average molecular weight of 400-50,000 and produced by reacting 70-99.999mol% of a compound of formula I (R1 is aliphatic hydrocarbon group or phenyl; R2, R3 and R4 are alkoxy or OH) with 30-0.001mol% of a compound of formula II (R5 is H or CH3; R6-R8 are OH, alkoxy or aliphatic hydrocarbon group; n is 1-6) and (B) a vinyl monomer containing oxirane group as essential monomer components and copolymerizing the monomers with another polymerizable monomer copolymerizable with the monomers. A radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer is polymerized in an organic solvent in the presence of the above dispersion stabilizer resin to obtain a non-aqueous dispersion of polymer particles insoluble in said organic solvent. The objective composition can be produced by compounding a chelate compound to the non-aqueous dispersion.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve not only scratch resistance but also appearance finish, by a method wherein clear paint having a specific composition is applied to the pigment-containing thermosetting paint applied to a surface to be painted and the obtained two-layered uncured paint films are cured simultaneously under heating. CONSTITUTION:Clear paint is prepared by compounding 15-50wt.% of a low MW polyol component A having a wt. average MW of 400-2,000 and a hydroxyl value of 150-400mg KOH/g, 10-60wt.% of a non-aqueous dispersion type acrylic resin B, 5-55wt.% of a solution type acrylic polyol resin C having a wt. average MW of 5,000-50,000 and 20-50wt.% of alkoxy monomeric melamine D. The above-mentioned clear paint is applied to the pigment-containing thermosetting paint applied to a surface to be painted to obtain two-layered uncured paint films which are, in turn, simultaneously cured under heating.

The components are mixed in such a proportion that the amount of the component A is 30-90wt% based on the combined amount (on a solid basis) of the components A and B, that of the component B is 70-10wt% based on the combined amount (on a solid basis) of the components A and B and that of a regenerated isocynate group in the component C is 0.3-1.5 equivalents per equivalent of the hydroxyl group in the components A and B to obtain the title paint which gives a coating film having a glass transition paint not higher than 10 deg.C after curing.

If desired, a pigment, (a dispersant), electrically conductive powder, a plasticizer, a surfactant, etc., are added thereto.

CONSTITUTION: The anion type electrodeposition paint is applied on the steel sheet and the org. solvent type barrier coat essentially consisting of a modified polyolefin resin having -30W-60°C static glass transition temp. of the coated film formed thereon is applied thereon. After a liquid paint is applied thereon, as necessary, the powder finish coat is applied. As a result, the finish appearance (for example, smoothness, gloss, sharpness, etc.) in particular and the pitting resistance, corrosion preventiveness, inter-layer adhesiveness, etc., are remarkably improved as compared to the coated film formed without application of the barrier coat.
