    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment for a tunnel, which can prevent an increase in a repairing portion of a segment body by preventing a temperature rise to the great depth of the segment body, when the temperature of the inside of the tunnel becomes high due to fire etc.
      SOLUTION: The segment for the tunnel is provided with a holding member 11 in which an inside space serving as a hole is formed. A ceramic lid member 20 is attached to the holding member 11. A space filler 23 is provided in the inside space of the holding member 11. The transfer of heat, which is associated with the convection of air in the inside space of the holding member 11, is suppressed with the space filler 23.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure between rings of a segment capable of reducing the number of joint hardware arranged on a joint surface between the rings to reduce cost and provided with a mortise requiring no special reinforcing bar for reinforcement.
      SOLUTION: This joint structure 1 divides the performance for sharing load in such a way that the joint hardware 4 shares tensile performance and a partial mortise 3 shares shearing performance. The tensile performance is the performance required at assembly time and demanding only aseismatic performance to reduce the number of joint hardware 4 partially and achieve economical joint structure. A shearing key having a gentle angle of the partial mortise 3 is provided in the vicinity of the center of height of the segment to reduce the number of reinforcing bars to cope with occurrence of crack.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leveling apparatus which is simple in structure and automates leveling work of a covering material.
      SOLUTION: There is constructed a tunnel 4 in the natural ground 3, and a surface of the tunnel 4 is covered with an inner wall 5. The tunnel 4 has a floor slab 7 arranged therein, on which the surface leveling apparatus 1 is arranged. The surface leveling apparatus 1 has a main body 9 which has arched rails 11a, 11b on an upper portion thereof. The rails 11a, 11b have arranged thereon the leveling device 13 having a roller, and a spray device 15 in a manner movable in directions B1, B2. When the covering material is arranged on the inner wall 5, the spray device 15 moves on the rails 11a, 11b in the directions B1, B2 while spraying the covering material into a gap between the inner wall 5 and the roller, and the leveling device 13 levels the covering material by moving on the rails 11a, 11b in the directions B1, B2 with the rollers kept rolling, to thereby apply the covering material to the inner wall 5.
