摘要： PURPOSE:To inhibit characteristic changes in water of a semiconductor sensor having silicon nitride on the outermost surface thereof when preserved in an aqueous solution, by using a silicate aqueous solution as the solution. CONSTITUTION:It is noted that the characteristic of a semiconductor sensor having a silicon nitride as pH sencitive film suffers a noticeable secular change in an aqueous solution. Such a characteristic change can be inhibited remarkably by preserving it in a silicate aqueous solution. The silicate herein used in the preserving solution to inhibit this characteristic change may be any choice of an alkali salt such as sodium silicate, potassium silicate and lithium silicate or a water-soluble silicate such as cilicotungstic acid and silicomolybdic acid. The concentration of the silicate is preferably 0.1wt.% to 50wt.%. This preserving solution allows the coexistence of components necessary for the preservation of a liquid junction type comparison electrode, for example, sodium chloride and potassium chloride with the silicate and requires no adjustment of pH particularly.

The silver wire 16 is extended along the hollow and linked to the connector 14. Thus, a high pressure steam sterilizable chemical material measuring apparatus can be obtained.

The filament 11 herein used has fine pores with the average diameter of 0.01-10mum and the capacity thereof exceeding 0.2cc/g.

A hydrophilic polymer layer 15 contg. an electrolyte of which the pH varies with absorption of gas is provided across the gate part 2 and the electrode part 12. The layer 15 is further coated with gas permeable colored silicone rubber 16. The rubber 16 is formed to the thickness in a specific range and is incorporated therein with a specific content of carbon black, by which the stable gas sensor which is not sensitive with light is obtd.
