    • PURPOSE:To form both of a center projecting curvature shape and center recessed curvature shape with one dressing device, by changing gradually the size of the radius of curvature automatically by the part corresponding to the forming notch quantity per once allowed for a dressing tool and forming a grinding grindwheel. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a dressing tool 22 is made to perform the circular motion of an optional radius of curvature by executing the numerical control of the movement in the 1st and 2nd axial directions of the dressing tool 22 and the revolving around the 3rd axis. The both of a center projecting curvature shape and center recessed curvature shape can therefore be formed with one dressing device and a cylindrical face may be formed at both sides of the curvature shape as well. Also, even in case of forming a center projecting curvature shape, it is unnecessary to make a grindwheel 14 coming into the part of the revolving shaft of the dressing tool 22, the span of the revolving shaft supporting bearing 21 of the dressing tool 22 can be shortened, even in case of the diameter of the grindwheel 14 becoming larger, the rigidity is made higher and a space saving can be realized.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately measure the length of a work even if there is a thermal displacement, etc., by measuring a reference face for measuring dimension and finding the length based on the measuring value of the end face to be measured of a work and this measuring value of the reference face.     • PURPOSE:To improve working accuracy and to increase working efficiency by arranging a main shaft base table moved in a 1st horizontal direction parallel to the axial line of a work and in a 2nd horizontal direction orthogonal therewith and a turret head revolved centering around the shaft parallel to the 2nd horizontal direction and fitted with plural grindstones. CONSTITUTION:Multistage grinding is performed by changing grindstone 27-29 by revolving a turret head 22. In this case, the revolving center shaft of the turret head 22 is orthogonal with the axial line of the work W held on the main shaft base 6 of the main shaft base table 3 above, so the revolving direction of the turret head 22 becomes in the tangent direction of the work W and the positional dispersement by the revolving of the turret head 22 is generated in the revolving direction. So that, the positional dispersement of the turret head 22 becomes in the tangent direction of the work W and the positional dispersion of the turret head 22 in the radial direction of the work W giving effect on the work working accuracy is reduced. Consequently, the working accuracy can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To easily adjust the center height by moving a turret base and the block for setting relatively to a prestored position at the time when a dimension measuring probe is changed and adjusting the measuring part of the probe so as to be in contact with the setting block. CONSTITUTION:In the state of locating at set position the work dimension measuring device 26 that the center height of the measuring part of a dimension measuring probe 30 is adjusted, the relative position in a 2nd horizontal direction of the turret base 21 and setting block 55 of the time when the measuring part is brought into contact with the setting block 55 is stored as a probe set value. Then at the time when the dimension measuring probe 30 is changed, in the state of locating at set position the work dimension measuring device 26, the relative position in the 2nd horizontal direction of the turret base 21 and setting block 55 becomes a probe set value.
