摘要： PURPOSE:To continuously prepare a large oxide crystal or a crystal having a Y-based 123 structure. CONSTITUTION:A liquid phase, enclosing a solid phase having a composition which supplies a crystal constituent element to a liquid phase 3 and is different from an oxide crystal in a place distant from a position for growing the crystal, composed of at least the crystal constituent element and having the composition different from the oxide crystal is used for growing the oxide crystal. Thereby, the crystal having the different compositions is grown from the solid and liquid phases. Furthermore, a seed crystal, the rotational speed and rotative direction of the seed crystal and the atmosphere in a furnace are respectively controlled to grow the crystal having the different compositions from both the solid and the liquid phases.

摘要： PURPOSE:To shorten production time as well as to control grain size by supercooling rate. CONSTITUTION:In this production method, a seed crystal is put on the surface of a precursor of a Y-contg. oxide superconductor, the precursor is heated to a half-melted state and supercooled to a solidifying region and then crystal growth is carried out. The precursor is obtd. by mixing powdery starting materials in a prescribed ratio, calcining the mixture and compacting the resulting calcined powder. The half-melted state is attained by heating to 1,000-1,200 deg.C and the supercooling rate is carried out in the range of >0 deg.C to 100 deg.C.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a coarse crystal with a simple process by calcining a mixture of raw materials having a specified composition under specified conditions, crushing the calcined material to obtain a precursor, forming the precursor, rapidly heating and then slowly cooling the formed body. CONSTITUTION:The mixture of raw materials having a specified composition is heated at 800-1000 deg.C for 1 hr in the low-oxygen-partial-pressure atmosphere with the oxygen partial pressure controlled to Torr, and the calcined material is crushed to obtain a precursor. The precursor is formed, rapidly heated to the temp. range where a 211 phase and a liq. phase coexist and then slowly cooled to grow the crystal.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a crystal film of good quality which is an oxide having a Y,123 type structure by laminating an oriented film of ReBa2Cu3Oy having the Y123 type crystal structure on a substrate and then laminating a crystal of the ReBa2Cu3Oy thereon. CONSTITUTION:A substrate is preferably an oxide containing an alkaline earth metal as a constituent element and a material without wetting with a melt of a barium-copper oxide. Various orienting directions of the crystal axis can be adopted in the oriented film. The crystallinity of the Y123 type crystal film depends on the thickness of the oriented film and the thickness is preferably 0.01-1mum. The oriented film is laminated by a plasma vapor deposition method. Specifically, an oxide raw material powder of Y-Ba-Cu-O is fed into a high-frequency plasma and evaporated and the resultant vapor is then deposited on the surface of the substrate. The crystal is preferably grown on the oriented film under conditions for depositing the Y123 type crystal as a primary crystal from the melt so as to subsequently laminate the oxide having the Y123 type structure on the oriented film. In this case, the crystal having good orienting properties is obtained even when the oriented film is not always completely oriented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress the crawling up of a melt in growing a crystal and readily obtain the single crystal by laminating an oriented film of ReBa2Cu3Oy having a Y123 type crystal structure on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A substrate is preferably an oxide containing an alkaline earth metal (e.g. Mg) as a constituent element and a material without wetting with a melt of a barium-copper oxide. 摘要： PURPOSE:To continuously obtain a large oxide crystal by using a liquid phase of a specific compsn. enclosing the oxide of an Sm 211 structure at a point apart from a crystal growth position and growing an oxide crystal of the Sm 123 structure. CONSTITUTION:Sm2BaCuO5 12 is put into the lower part a crucible 11 and the liquid phase 13 obtd. by calcining a mixture composed of barium carbonate of about 3:7 molar ratio of Ba:Cu and copper oxide is put thereon. This crucible 11 is then heated in a heating furnace 16 and a seed crystal rod 15 consisting of SmBa2Cu3O7-x is brought into contact with the liquid surface of the liquid phase 13. While the seed crystal rod 15 is kept rotated, this rod is pulled up allow the crystal 14 of the SmBa2Cu3O7-x to continuously grow in a vertical direction. As a result, the large oxide crystal of the Sm 123 structure having the different compsns. of the solid phase and the liquid phase is produced by using the liquid phase contg. the oxide enclosing the Sm 211 structure at the point apart from the position to allow the crystal to grow and having the compsn. different from the compsn. of the oxide crystal is produced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simultaneously perform dust-proof remedy and cooling by opening a mechanically unnecessary part of a strut of a right side surface of a brushless DC motor as much as possible for air cooling and providing a metal net. CONSTITUTION:An outer rotor type direct drive type motor has a sensor 20 and an encoder 12 disposed outside a strut 2 of one side surface thereof to improve an allowable temperature limit in the motor, and an opening 9 provided partly at a strut 3 of the other side surface thereof. A metal net 10 is provided on the surface to prevent invasion of large dusts, etc. An L-shaped sectional ring 23 is attached to a cylinder 21 between a U-shaped sectional ring 22 fixed to a yoke 1 and the cylinder 21 fixed by teeth 5 and a winding 8 to prevent invasion of dusts. Surfaces 19 of inner space of the opening 9 are covered with resin for preventing deterioration of insulation due to moisture, etc. As a result, direct cooling and dust-proof remedy can be simultaneously executed.
