    • PURPOSE:To safely perform the operation even in a region between two natural frequencies by constituting each connecting member in a manner wherein rigidity of a connecting member, extended in a direction equal to the extending direction of a rotary shaft, of the connecting members is larger than the rigidity of a connecting member extended in a direction orthogonal to the extending direction of the rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of rod-shaped connecting members 32 are interposed be tween the peripheral surface of a supporting cylinder 16 and the internal peripheral surface of a lower part housing 14, and the supporting cylinder 16 is connected to the lower part housing 14 by these connecting members 32 to support centrifugal force by rotation of the above-mentioned rotary shaft 20. In this device, only the connecting member 32 in the x-direction is arranged by omitting the connecting member 32 in the y-direction. By this device, two natural frequencies fx, fy are generated caused by extending the rotary shaft 20 in the x-direction, but a difference between x- directional rigidity and y-directional rigidity is increased by omitting the connecting member 32 in the y-direction to decrease the rigidity in that direction, so that a region (b) is extended by extending also a difference between the natural frequencies fx fy.

    • PURPOSE:To stably control the vibration of the steel sheet running on the running path by computing the position detecting signal of the steel sheet and controlling the attracting force of the electromagnet. CONSTITUTION:The vibration of the steel sheet 10 is damped by detecting the deviated position of the steel sheet 10 with a position detecting unit 13, and controlling the electric current applied to an electromagnet 12 with a control unit 14 based on the outputting signal. There are a proportional compensation which shows the effect applying the positive spring to the steel sheet 10 by making flow the electric current being proportional to the deviation of the steel sheet, a differential compensation applying the positive decay to the steel sheet 10 by making flow the electric current being proportional to the velocity of the steel sheet 10 and further an integral compensation damping so as to make the deviation to zero by integrating the deviation of the steel sheet 10 from the surface of running path 11 and making flow current to the electromagnet 12. The doping effect is improved by providing plural numbers of the electromagnets 12 and the position detecting units 13 by keeping the prescribed interval against the surface of running path 11 of the steel sheet 10.
