    • PURPOSE:To prevent disproportionation of particle sized of a raw material charged in dispensing tanks and expand effective capacities of the dispensing tanks by a method wherein, at the time of starting charging the raw material into plural dispensing tanks, the differences in storage amounts of remaining raw material in all dispensing tanks are levelled by charging the raw material from one point and thereafter all the dispensing tanks are charged with the raw material by a continuous movement of a raw material charging means. CONSTITUTION:One and the same raw material stored in dispensing tanks 10, which consist of plural tanks neighboring each other in a horizontal direction, in partially withdrawn from the bottom of each tank, and the raw material is charged by a raw material charging means 14, which moves over the tanks, to each of the tanks from which the raw material was withdrawn. First, the remaining storage amount of each tank is computed by a computer 32, the computed value is compared with the lower storage limit, and the raw material charging device 14 is stopped at a point above a tank which has a storage amount lower than the lower storage limit to charge the raw material continuously to the tank until the storage amount of the tank reaches the lower storage limit to thereby level the differences in remaining storage amounts of all the tanks. Then, the raw material charging device 14 moves continuously from one end to other end of the dispensing tanks 10 to sequentially fill the neighboring tanks. This mechanism can prevent disproportionation of particle sizes of a raw material charged in dispensing tanks 10 and expand effective capacities of the dispensing tanks.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform the automatic operation of a crane by setting a threshold for swing judgment according to the degree of contamination of a reflecting plate in the judgment of swing of a hoisting accessory by a swing detecting means for judging the shaking of the hoisting accessory on the basis of the received light intensity of a light receiving means for detecting a reflected light beam. SOLUTION: A photoelectric switch 21 provided on a crane body 10 has an optical beam emitting means, a reflecting plate 22 is provided on the upper surface of a hoisting accessory 13 suspended from the crane body 10, and the optical beam reflected thereby is received by a light receiving device. When the light receiving device cannot catch the reflected optical beam, the hoisting is stopped. A threshold is provided on the basis of the reflected light intensity in the resting state of the crane. The ratio of the reflected optical beam intensity to the emitted optical beam intensity is calculated, and the threshold is set according to the intensity ratio. According to this, a trouble in that the reflected light is weakened by the accumulation of dust on the upper surface of the hoisting accessory 13 to cause the wrong operation of the photoelectric switch 21 can be solved.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the rising time of exciting current, and to make a separator compact and light, in the separator which excites by detecting an inclusion of magnetic pieces, by exciting with small electric power in ordinary running and exciting with large power when said piece is detected. CONSTITUTION:An exciting coil of a magnetic separator 12 is ordinarily excited by a small electric power kept within a range where a temperature rise of said coil is kept from exceeding an allowable temperature i.e. a preparation voltage VS, and an exciting current IS is supplied. When a magnetic piece mixed in raw materials on a moving conveyor 10 passes through a detecting means 24, a detecting signal S1 is transmitted to a controlling device to convert the voltage VS into an exciting voltage VF enough to attract the magnetic piece. Then the exciting current increases from the value IS in an ordinary state toward the IF corresponding to the voltage VF at the time of attracting state, and corresponding to said change, the value of magnetic field also increases from HS to HF. Thus the rises are curved as shown by real lines in the figure because of the delays caused by said increases. Accordingly, the attraction takes place after a short time t1 from the time the signal S1 is outputted, when the lower limit of magnetic field necessary for attracting the magnetic piece is put HL, and the current value necessary for exciting of HL is put IL.
