摘要： PURPOSE:To make the heating temp. of a steel strip constant and to uniformize the properties of product by changing the number of fired burners after adjusting a fuel gas flow regulating valve at an opening degree corresponding to the changed number of the burners. CONSTITUTION:The transporting speed of a stainless steel strip is inputted in a controller 13 and the number of fired burners 5 is decided in accordance with this speed. In accordance with the result, respective fuel valves 10 are operated. On the other hand, the set opening degree of the flow regulating valve 11 is decided in accordance with the number of the fired burners and the set opening degree of the fuel gas flow regulating valve 11 is beforehand chaned according to this opening degree. In this way, the change of the set number of the burners and set opening degree of the flow regulating valves 11 accompanying the change of the transporting speed is completed. After that, the ordinary PID control is executed with the loop of a fuel gas flowmeter 14, fuel gas flow controller 15 and fuel gas flow regulating valve 11.

Thus, the strip 3 is fixed to recombine the work roll and so a correct roll gap can be reproduced at the re-rolling reduction time of the work roll. Also, the recombined work roll can execute re-rolling reduction at the original strip rolling reduction position without the rolling reduction position being slipped and the plate thickness fluctuation of the strip can be prevented.

When a coil 2 is driven under such a state, though the set-off sheet 4 sticks to the lead-out base sheet 3, it receives a shearing force, is peeled from the base sheet 3 and falls under the opener 6. Then, if the coil 2 is driven for rotation, the end of the set-off sheet 4 is sent out to the lower side of the opener 6. Thus, the guard sheet can be sent out normally.

After the packaging member 17 is packaged by an anti-rust paper 22, the packaged item is further packaged with a heat-shrinking film 25, and after this operation, the heat-shrinking film is processed with a heat shrinking process. A method is provided for packaging metallic material in which, after a plate-like packaging member is held between a pair of heating discs and dried, the attained dried plate-like packaging member 17 is mounted on an upper surface of the metallic material 15 packaged with the anti-rust paper. After the packaging member 17 is packaged by a heat-shrinking film 25, the heat-shrinking film is processed with a heat shrinking process. A facility is also provided for packaging the metallic material.

The surface hardening treatment of the sliding part 14 with the oil seal is preferably either one of chrome plating, surface quenching treatment, carburizing treatment, nitriding treatment. An oil drain hole 12 to discharge the lubrication oil (oil) 9 collected on the oil seal 10 is arranged so as to communicate to the insides of the nut 7 and a key 11.

SOLUTION: A roll profile is formed by conducting a circumferential direction polishing on the surface of the roll 3, and circumferential direction polishing grain 4 is given at circumferential direction average roughness of within Ra1=0.2-0.5 μm and afterwards an axial polishing grain 5 is given at axial average roughness within Ra2=Ra1×20-100% by axial polishing.
