摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely simply attach and detach a cover by arranging a hinge on one side of the main body of a case and a spring clamp on the other side. SOLUTION: The case is used for protecting a chain coupling of a rotary shaft for adjusting roll positions of a sinking mill from dust and roll cooling water during rolling and for prolonging its life. The hinge 9 is provided on one side of the main body 6 of this case and the spring clamp 8 is arranged on the other side. In such constitution, the coupling parts are connected by hooking the spring clamp 8 on the hinge 9 and, on the contrary, when the connected part is separated, by upward lifting the handle 10 of the spring clamp 8, the clamp is disengaged from the hinge 9 and the connected part is separated. In this way, the case can be detached without removing bolts whenever by small labor in short time. When the shafts connected with the coupling is rotated at high speed, because there is possibility that the elongation of the sprig caused by the centrifugal force of rotation is generated and the clamp is disengaged, this clamp is applied to the coupling for low rotation.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic preloading type rolling correction cage capable of making no amendment in original adjusting condition of a rolling cylinder. SOLUTION: A rolling correction cage 10 to manufacture a high temperature rolled bar has at least a pair of rolling cylinders 12, 13 each mounted on stands 14, 15, and a clearance between each of the rolling cylinders or a working gap 17 is adjusted by a system comprising a screw 18 and a lead screw 21. The hydraulic preloading system of rolling cylinders 12, 13 which work after adjusting the clearance 17 has a plurality of rods 27 extending across the stands 14, 15 and capable of executing a relative sliding motion. Each of the rods 27 is at its one end 28 fixed to the stand 14, and at the other end is equipped with a piston 29 which moves in a hydraulic cylinder 30 steadily fixed to the stand 15 opposite to the stand 14; then the rod 27 also fulfills a function confronting the rolling torque.
