摘要： PURPOSE:To normally coil a set-off sheet by sending a thin strip to the upper side of an opener and then bringing the end of the opener into contact with the lower surface of the thin strip to peel the set-off sheet in a payoff of a metal thin strip coil in which the set-off paper is inserted. CONSTITUTION:After the end of the base sheet 3 is lead out on the upper side of the opener 6, the end of the opener 6 is held up and brought into contact with the lower surface of the base sheet 3. When a coil 2 is driven under such a state, though the set-off sheet 4 sticks to the lead-out base sheet 3, it receives a shearing force, is peeled from the base sheet 3 and falls under the opener 6. Then, if the coil 2 is driven for rotation, the end of the set-off sheet 4 is sent out to the lower side of the opener 6. Thus, the guard sheet can be sent out normally.

摘要： PURPOSE:To replace a heater easily and to uniform the temperature distribution in the axial direction of a roll by providing a pocket at the central axis of the roll to allow to open to the atmosphere, housing a low melting point metal and a heater and sealing a heating medium of a specific condition around the pocket. CONSTITUTION:In an inner tube 5 at the center of a hollow roll 1, a heater 2 and a Wood's metal as a low melting point metal are housed and closed by a lid 6 to form a pocket. As a result, the heater 2 melts the metal 4 and heats the roll in a good heat transport efficiency, while the heater can be replaced regardless of a heating medium 3. In a space between the tube 5 and the roll 1, potassium is sealed as a heating medium 3. The heating medium 3 is set to wet at least a part of the inner tube 5, and the vapor molar fraction in a gaseous phase is made 80% or higher in the service temperature scope. Consequently, the temperature can be uniformed without disturbing the condensation of the heating medium vapor to the lower temperature side wall surface of the roll.

When the coiling of the strip 1 is made to progress and cutting point is reached a flying shear 12, the coiling of one coil is completed by cutting the strip 1 and spacer paper 41 at the same time and the cutting is detected with a detector 17. Because following strip 1 is coiled at once with a preliminary tension reel, coiling is performed by pressing the tip part of the spacer paper 42 against the strip 1 with the roll 8 and the spacer paper 42 is stuck to the strip 1 based on the cutting signal of the spacer paper.

In this way, the coiling operation of the set-off paper 5 requires no manual work and is automated completely.

In this way, the set off sheet 4 is peeled by the guard sheet lead out roll 8, sent out to the lower part of the coil 2 awaited by a paper sleeve 5 and the lead-out of the set off sheet is performed surely without manual work and automation of delivery operation can be performed.

CONSTITUTION:The tip of the strip 1 is detected with a detector 13 and stopped as keeping the tip in a position A. The tip of a coil 3a of spacer paper is detected with a detecter 14 and set in a prescribed position. The position of the adhesive tape 7b on the leader tape 7 is detected with a detector 15 and stored. A press roll 8 is pressed against the coil 3a of spacer paper and the second half part of the adhesive tape 7b is stuck to the tip of spacer paper by operating a cylinder 9. The tip of spacer paper 21 is stuck to the tip of the strip 1 with the press roll 8 by operating the cylinder 9 and the coiling of the strip 1 is started after the press roll 8 is retreated. The charging of spacer paper can be automated and it can contribute to laborsaving and improvement of production efficiency.

Consequently, even when the steel sheet 1 is caught from the upper surface of the take-up reel 3 so that it crosses the upper part of the take-up reel 3, no non-conformity is generated, the applicability of the automatically inserting device for guard sheet can be magnified and the cost of the device can be reduced.
