    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion resin-based coating which can stably exhibit a target viscosity behavior even if applied with treatment immediately before coating necessary for a practical use such as viscosity adjustment and in-can toning.SOLUTION: The emulsion resin-based coating includes a copolymer (A) and a resin emulsion component (B) containing an aliphatic acid modified acrylic resin emulsion. The copolymer (A) is obtained by being copolymerized with a monomer component (m) which is composed of: a macromonomer (m-1) which has a polymer chain having numerical molar weight in a range of 1,000 to 10,000 obtained by being polymerized with a monomer component (I) containing a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (a) having an alkyl group of an carbon number of 3 to 24 at 5 to 100 mass%, and a polymerizable unsaturated group; a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (m-2) having an nonionic hydrophilic group; and the other polymerizable unsaturated monomer (m-3).
