摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the continuous control of gain so as to accelerate the response speed by inputting a signal, detected by an accelerometer, directly into a displacement command computing element, inputting the computed result immediately into an automatic gain computing element, and sending a control command with an adjusted gain coefficient to a drive unit when the peak value enters an automatic gain variable range. CONSTITUTION:A control device is used for an active earthquake control device 8 of such constitution as to convert the vibration of a structure into the kinetic energy of a weight as a mass reciprocated by the driving of a motor 6 as an actuator so as to damp this vibration. This control device is provided with an accelerometer 9 installed in such a way as to detect the vibration of the structure, a displacement command computing element 10, a stroke computing element, for computing the amplitude of the weight on the basis of a signal detected by the accelerometer 9, and an automatic gain computing element 11 for obtaining the peak value in the optionally set cycle period of the computed time series waveform, adjusting a gain coefficient according to the peak value and sending a control command to a motor drive unit 12.

The weight 5 is swung so that it makes simple harmonic motion in a single piece with the rail 4 in the direction to the left and right upon the supporting rollers 3, and thereby a spring system due to restoration force using the gravitational force is formed. A left and a right projection 6 are installed at the sides on the front and rear of the weight 5, and a left and a right buffer 8 mating with the projections 6 are installed on a frame 7 which pinches the weight 5 fore and aft, and thereby the swinging region of the weight 5 is restricted.
