    • PURPOSE:To facilitate supply and recovery operation, and to save labor by a method wherein a gripper is turned while an arm is used as a fulcrum, the position of the setting of a double pipe is lowered and the double pipe is recovered and supplied under the state, in which the arm is turned at a horizontal position. CONSTITUTION:An arm 1 is brought down horizontally, and a double pipe 8 is supplied. The opening sections of grippers 15, 16 are directed upward at that time, and the height sections of the grippers 16 are placed at positions higher than the position of the double pipe 8 on a base. A rotary actuator 18 is operated, the external shaft 13 of an arm 11 is rotated, and the grippers 15, 16 are revolved at an approximately right angle while the arm 11 is used as a fulcrum. The double pipe 8 is set at a position, where the opening section of the gripper 15 is directed just beside the double pipe 8, and the double pipe 8 can be entered into the gripper 15 only by rolling the double pipe. An excavating rod is gripped by the gripper 15, and the arm 11 is rotated and erected by a rotary actuator 20. A drill head 5 is lowered, and the double pipe 8 is connected and excavation is carried out. The double pipe 8 is rolled in the direction of the base, and recovery operation is conducted in a reverse manner to supply.

    • PURPOSE:To exhibit function of two set by means of one set without replacing a drilling device by providing different sorts type drill heads in parallel with each other on a slide table slidable in right and left directions, and sliding the slide table so as to positioningly move the drill head onto a drilling center axis. CONSTITUTION:A slide table 5 is slidably right and left provided on a base which is slidable advancing and retreating along a leader 1. Next different sorts type drill heads 6, 7 are provided right and left in parallel with each other on the slide table 5, and the slide table 5 is slided right and left so as to respectively move the drilling center axes. Then function of two set can be performed by means of one set without replacing a drilling device. Hereby, combination of the two set of drill heads 6, 7 is changed so as to deal with change of an execution place, and saving of the parts and simplification of the construction can be attained while improving working efficiency.

    • PURPOSE:To realize the method and the apparatus for measurement by which the shape of the wall surface of a buried pipe that is reached by boring can be detected definitely on the ground by detecting the amount of movement on the ground when the tip of a measuring instrument comes into contact with the buried pipe and each movable probe is moved backward in response to the shape of the wall surface of the buried pipe. CONSTITUTION:When a branch pipe is attached to a buried pipe 20 without digging a hole, at first, the position of the buried pipe 20 is confirmed with ultrasonic waves and the like, and a hole is dug from the ground surface with a boring apparatus. Then, a measuring device is inserted into a casing pipe 1 which is used for digging the hole. The tips of a fixed probe 4 and each movable probe 5 are pushed to the buried pipe 20 for contact. Then, each movable probe 5 is moved backward against a spring 6 in conformity with the shape of the wall surface of the embedded pipe 20. Therefore, a shaft 8 of each linear displacement measuring device 7 is moved backward. At the time when the fixed probe 4 comes into contact with the wall surface of the pipe, the amount of the movement of each shaft 8 is transduced into the electric signal. The signal is detected on the ground. Thus, the shape of the wall surface of the pipe at the part against which a measuring instrument 2 abuts can be found.
