    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and an apparatus in which a temperature can be detected without being influenced by an external environment, which can be used irrespective of the shape of a power-supply system and in which a degradation place can be specified by a method wherein a temperature sensing means is housed at the inside of a coaxial-feeder connection part and a magnetic-field sensor is installed at the connection part. SOLUTION: An external conductor 8a and an external conductor 8b at a coaxial feeder are connected to each other by a coupling 10 and a hose band 11. An internal conductor 9a and an internal conductor 9b are connected to each other by an inner connector 1. A housing pipe 3 is housed inside the inner connector 1. On the other hand, when a magnetic-field sensor 12 is attached to the coupling 10, it is arranged on the outside of the external conductors. A signal line 13 fetches the output of the magnetic-field sensor 12. Since the temperature at the inside of their connection part is detected by this method, the temperature can be detected without being influenced by an external environment. In addition, since a change in a magnetic-flux density generated by a temperature is detected, the method can be used irrespective of the shape of a power-supply system. In addition, since the method can be applied independently for every connection part, it is possible to specify a degradation place even when many connection parts exist.
