    • PURPOSE:To provide a predictive coding device capable of preventing deterioration of picture by controlling a quantization width in accordance with the presence/absence of the correlation of pictures within space time. CONSTITUTION:Input and output picture data of a frame memory 11 and output picture data of a frame memory 12 are respectively inputted to a correlation coefficient calculation part 13 and the part 13 divides them into the blocks of the picture elements of 8X8 so as to calculate a correlation coefficient between a present output frame picture and respective frame pictures before and after it by one frame in the area and a correlation coefficient between the lines in horizontal and vertical directions within a present frame. A judgement part 16 decides the quantization width of a quantization part 17 in accordance with a output data quantity from an output buffer memory 24 and furthermore, at the time of judging that the sum sigma of the correlation coefficients is smaller than a threshold value kappa and not-correlated and that the distribution of the frequency spectrums of an information source is uniform based on an orthogonal transforming coefficient from an orthogonal transformation part 15, the part 16 judges the small area of the block of the picture element of 8X8 which is the object is a not-correlated part and makes the quantization width rough.

    • PURPOSE:To safely and accurately use a line by automating the initial setting of a picture information transmission line completely between a base station and a mobile station such as an aircraft so as to minimize the line interruption due to a hindrance at the time of a TV radio wave being an azimuth reference and a radio wave of an ordering line are in the arrival range. CONSTITUTION:The direction of a TV radio wave 12 from a transmission antenna 11 of a TV broadcast station 10 is found via a direction finder antenna 21 of a helicopter station 20, and a picture information transmission antenna 22 is directed to a base station 60 to send a test signal. Further, the station 20 sends an azimuth command to the station 60 via an ordering line whip antenna 23, the station 60 receiving command directs a picture information reception antenna 62 in the direction of antenna 22 to set a picture information line 2. Then the station 60 switches the mode into the automatic tracing, the signal representing the line setting end to the station 20 through the ordering line 1 and the station 20 switches the mode of the antenna 20 to the automatic direction. Then the line interruption due to a fault within a prescribed range is minimized and the utilizing efficiency of the line is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To simultaneously execute two-way communication for interconnection through a satellite by mixing received communication carriers from the transmitting side and the receiving side of a picture signal as keeping a prescribed level difference, and trasnsmitting the mixed communication carrier toward, at least, the transmitting side and the receiving side of the picture signal. CONSTITUTION:A demodulated OW carrier in the antenna input of a picture signal transmitting station is sent intermittently only during the first half of a horizontal scanning period, and on the other hand, the demodulated OW carrier in the antenna input of a picture signal receiving station is sent continuously by an OW carrier level about 10 db lower than the OW carrier level at the picture signal transmitting station. The receiving part of a broadcasting satellite 17 mixes both as keeping the prescribed OW carrier level difference of about 10 db, and returns the mixed carrier to both the transmitting and the receiving ground stations by carrying it on the microwave of the outgoing circuit of 12 GHz, for instance, by superposing it on a picture signal transmission band through TWT amplifier similarly to at outgoing the picture signal transmitting station.
