    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently utilize the energy simultaneously with the treatment of waste liquid in a burner-type melting furnace.
      SOLUTION: In this burner-type melting furnace wherein the molten slag 5a flowing in a reservoir 9a of a lateral cylindrical melting furnace body from a combustion chamber 4 is heated by spiral flow 13 by a combustion gas 12 from the combustion chamber 4 and a combustion gas 11 from a stabilizing furnace 10, a waste liquid supplying device 16 is mounted in the melting furnace body 9. The waste liquid supplying device 16 is downwardly mounted on an upper part of the melting furnace body 9 to spray and supply the waste liquid 15 toward a surface molten part 5b of the incineration ash 5 at a position where the molten slag 5a flows into the reservoir 9a. The waste liquid 15 is supplied into the melting furnace body 9 from the waste liquid supplying device 16 to be combusted, and its heat is used as a part of a heat source for melting the ash.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a burner-type melting furnace by improving combusting and melting performance and realizing higher combustion load and melting load. SOLUTION: In this burner-type melting furnace wherein the molten slag 5a of the incineration ash 5 flowing into a reservoir 9a of a lateral cylindrical melting furnace body from a combustion chamber 4, is heated by the spiral flow 13 formed by a combustion gas 12 from the combustion chamber 4 and a combustion gas 11 from a stabilizing burner 10, and an oxygen burner 14 for promoting the heating is mounted in a melting furnace body 9. The oxygen burner 15 obtains high-temperature jet flow 19 having a flame temperature of over 2000°C by combusting kerosene 18, and is downwardly mounted on an upper part of the melting furnace body 9 to direct the high-temperature jet flow 19 from a surface melting part 5b of the incineration ash 5 to the reservoir 9a.
