摘要： PURPOSE:To enable firm supporting even against a large electro-magnetic force and to prevent rapture of a keying member between a toroidal coil and a support member by forming an insulation layer of a keying member so as to corrugate in the poloidal direction of the toroidal magnetic field coil. CONSTITUTION:A support member 2 which supports electro-magnetic force Q, is provided between toroidal coils 1 which are arranged radially in a tolus direction of a vacuum chamber. A keying member 3 for supporting poloidal electro-magnetic force P is inserted in between the member 2 and the coil 1. The member 3 is formed as to be a three layers structure by being inserted by an insulation layer 5 which is formed corrugatedly between metal layers 4a and 4b in the poloidal direction of the coil 1. Also, on surfaces of the member 2 and the coil 1, an insulation layer 5 is formed. By corrugatedly forming of the insulation layer 5, the large electro-magnetic forces P and Q can be supported by the members 2 and 3, when the two forces work. Moreover, by providing the metal layers 4a and 4b on the both sides of the insulation layer 5, rapture of the member 3 can be avoided when the member 3 is driven in, and reliability of the member 3 is much improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the mechanical strength of the title magnet and, at the same time, to improve the electric characteristics by uniformizing the stress distribution in the radial direction of a winding section by winding a double conduit conductor by a prescribed number of turns and preventing the occurrence of shearing force between the conductor and an insulating materiel. CONSTITUTION:A winding section 4 is constituted by housing a superconducting wire 6 in the first conduit 5 together with a coolant and winding a double conduit conductor 8 holding the first conduit 5 by a prescribed number of turns after the second conduit 7 is arranged so as to cover the outer peripheral part of the conduit 5. During the course of constituting the winding section 4, the stress distribution in the radial direction of the winding section 4 is made uniform and the occurrence of shearing force between the double conduit conductor 8 and an insulating material 9 is prevented by gradually increasing the thickness of the second conduit 7 in the radial direction from the inside diameter side to the outside diameter side of the winding section 4. Therefore, the mechanical strength can be increased and, at the same time, the electrical characteristics can be improved.

CONSTITUTION:Pressure molding means 10 is provided between an uncoiler 1 and winding means 3. The means 10 pressure-molds a conductor 2 in a direction parallel to the axis 4a of a winding shaft 4. The means 10 has a stationary mold 11 for receiving the conductor 2, a movable mold 12 so disposed as to hold the conductor 2, and a driving mechanism 13. Thus, in order to form the side face of the conductor 2 to be deformed ln an uneven state during winding in a state having no deformation after winding, it is pressure molded in advance before winding. In this manner, a winding conductor having a flat side face including no deformation can be formed after winding.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve stability of a superconductive conductor without increasing AC loss by compressing strand wires for mutually sticking such strand with solder. CONSTITUTION:A surface of a core 1a is applied with a prescribed amount of solder plating 2, and six pieces of surrounding strands are arranged centering about the core 1a for being stranded. Then, the whole is compressed and heated by high-frequency heating or the like to melt solder, with which the core 1a is coated, for sticking the surrounding strands to the core 1a. By compressing each strand 1 including the core 1a in this way, and mutually sticking with the solder 2, a thermal conductive area among respective strands, especially between the core 1a and the surrounding strands 1 is increased so as to sufficiently cool the core 1a also. Further, since the core 1a is electrically connected with the surrounding strands 1, it becomes a flow path of the current even being in a constantly conductive state to be able to reduce calorific value.

The radial thickness of the portion constituted by a superconducting material after the final heat treatment is represented by 2t, and the minimum radius of curvature of the superconducting coil formed by winding the conductor is represented by RW. In case of producing a superconducting coil having the ratio, t/Rw, which is not less than 0.005, the superconductor is subjected to the final heat treatment for forming the superconducting material in the state where the conductor has a radius of curvature from 1.5 to 4 times as large as Rw, and made linear and is then wound to the final radius Rw.

Then, a change in flow rate of a refrigerant is detected with the flowmeter 5 as associated with the generation of a transition to normal conduction. Thus, the transition to normal superconduction of the coil 22 can be detected without being affected by electric noises.
