Also, at each upper and lower cross section facing to a toroidal direction of both end sectors 412 and 413, linear and recessed engaging parts 412s, 412v, 413s and 413v, or linear and projecting parts 411r and 411u are formed, and on a contacting surface of a shielding part 2 which contacts to the upper and lower cross sections, the recessed engaging parts 412s, 412v, 413s and 413v, or a recessed engaging part 22 which is able to engage with the projecting parts 411r and 411u, and the recessed engaging parts 412v and 413v, are formed. Moreover, on each upper and lower cross section facing to the toroidal direction of a central sector 411, the linear and projecting engaging part 411r or a recessed engaging part 21 is formed and, on the contacting surface of a shielding part 2 which contacts to the upper and lower cross sections, the projecting engaging part 411r of the sector 411, or the recessed part 412v which can engage with the recessed part 21, and the projecting part 411u, are formed.

    • PURPOSE:To surely maintain the soundness of a cooling base plate which has internally coolant flow passages by metallurgically joining the cooling base plate and a protective plate to the plasma side face of said base plate and further, joining a heat receiving plate to the plasma side of the protective plate. CONSTITUTION:The flow passages 102 for passing the coolant are formed to the cooling base plate 101 and the protective plate 103 is metallurgically joined to the base plate 101. The heat receiving plate 104 is fixed by an internal thread part 105 to the plate 103 and the thread part 105 is formed thinner than the other parts. The heat receiving plate 104 is bolted 106 to the plate 103. The heat receiving plate 104 in the part where the bolts 106 are screwed down is formed thin as well. Further, the top end face of the bolts 106 is recessed from the plane of the plate 104 in the screwed state of the bolts 106 to decrease the thermal load from plasma at the time of abnormal annihilation of the plasma on the bolts 106. An austenitic stainless steel is used for the material of the base plate 101, graphite for the protective plate 103 and a composite for the heat receiving plate 104 and the bolts 106. The weaving direction of the fibers of the composite is paralleled with the surface of the heat receiving plate 104 to prevent cracking.

    • PURPOSE:To improve capability of anti-radiation and easy assembling by constituting the connection part of a plurality of parts insulated each other so that a key consisting of insulator having contacted a plurality of ceramic pieces with resin, is inserted for the connection. CONSTITUTION:On parts 1, 2 to be connected, a concave part 1a is formed at the connection part of one part 1 and a convex part 2a is formed on the other part 2. Insulation clad is layed on the bottom surface of the concave part 1a and the contact surface of the part 2 to the part 1 except the convex part 2a. Then, the convex part 2a is inserted in the concave part 1a to attach the contact surfaces. In between the upper and lower surfaces of the convex part 2a and there facing inner surfaces of the concave part la, a key 4 consisting of insulator and a metal like a steel plate 5 (5a, 5b) flexible to a load are inserted. The key 4 is constituted of ceramic pieces arranged vertically and holizontally and contacted each other with epoxy resin. Also, in between the steel plate 5 and the inner surface of the concave 1a a key 6 is driven to connect parts 1 and 2. By this, the connection part can bear loads 7a, 7b and radiation sufficiently.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the coolability of heat receiver plate of the first wall which positions at the plasma side and has large heat load and is capable of detaching easily by remote operation, and improve exchange work efficiency. SOLUTION: On an inner surface of a vacuum vessel 2 containing plasma, a corrugated cooling base plate 16 is placed. This cooling base plate 16 is formed with continuous projection parts 17 and recess parts 18 by turns and the recess parts 18 inside form cooling water flow paths 15. Fixing seats 19 are placed on the projection parts 17 of the cooling base plate 16 and on this fixing seat 19, a fixing base plate 27 is fixed by screw joints. On the fixing base plate 27, circular first heat receiver plates 28 are fixed with fixing bolts 21. Spacers 23 are fixed on the recess parts 18 of the cooling base plates 16 and to that spacers 23, second heat receiver plates 34 are fixed with fastening bolts 24. The size of the second heat receiver plate 24 is of an area which covers the gap generated in the middle when four circular first heat receiver plates 28 are arranged.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of the creep deformation of a gasket when baked and prevent the lowering of the bearing of a sealed face for obtaining a reliable metallic gasket by making the material near the part, with which the blade of a flange is brought into contact, of material whose hardness is lower than that of the material around the part. CONSTITUTION:The vacuum seal between a gasket 4 and flange 13 is performed by letting the blade 11 of the flange 13 cut into the sealing member of the gasket. When baking is done to reduce the quantity of gas discharging from a vacuum container, the temperature of a vacuum flange section rises, and since clamping force works to the cutting edge of the flange cut into the sealing member 1 of the gasket 4 due to the clamping bolt 12 of the flange 13, the creep deformation of the gasket 4 progresses. This deformation lowers the clamping force of the clamping bolt 12, which causes leak generation. Since, however, the internal peripheral surface, external peripheral surface, and bottom surface of the sealing member 1, into which the blade 11 of the flange cuts, is enclosed by a base member 2 whose hardness is higher than that of the sealing member 1, the deformation of the sealing member 1 is bound so that creep may not easily be generated, which reduces the generation of creep deformation.
