摘要： PURPOSE:To avoid the generation of quenching of, for instance, a superconductive coil for a nuclear fusion experiment equipment by a method wherein a temporary support a fitted to a part of a support and the difference between thermal expansion and contraction of the coil is made nearly equal to that of the support at room temperature by cooling. CONSTITUTION:Pancake coils which are formed by adhering rectangular superconductors and interlayer insulators are piled in a cryogenic chamber in which coolant is contained and supported by a frame support 2 and a superconductive coil 1 is formed. A temporary circumference supporting jig 5 which has inlet piping part 6a is fitted to a circumference supporting part 2d and temporarily fixed by wedges 4a and 4b. The difference between thermal expansion and contraction of the coil 1 is made nearly equal to that of the support 2 by cooling by coolant supplied through the piping part 6a. Then the jig 5 is removed and a support 2d is fitted. With this constitution, dimensional difference between the coil 1 and the support 2 is absorbed and gap is eliminated, so that the generation of quenching is avoided.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the resin of an insulation layer from flowing out by a method wherein a coil is composed of a conductor made of copper base and superconductive wires buried in the base and a layer insulation applied to the radial direction of the conductor and the layer insulation is made of specific glass-fiber reinforced plastic fine leaf material. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive coil is composed by winding a coil conductor 2 like a race-track. The conductor is composed of a copper base 3 in which a groove is formed and superconductive wires 4 which are laid and transposed in the groove and are buried and fixed by solder 5. To the side of the conductor 2 thermoexcel surfaces 6 for cooling are provided, an interlayer insulation 11 is provided between the adjacent conductors 2 and glass-fiber reinforced plastic fine leaf material which contains 20-40wt% of resin is used as the interlayer insulation. Medium temperature thermosetting resin 12 is applied around the insulation 11. With this constitution, the resin is prevented from flowing out of the insulation 11 and the coil is endurable enough against repeated compression stress. Moreover, the surface 6 are not contaminated, so that the heat emission effect is not inhibited.

Meanwhile, in the spaces between conductor turns, interturn insulating materials 5 are fixed to the insides of the turns of the stabilizing materials 2 and spacers 6 such as ethylene tetrafluoride having low friction coefficient are inserted and positioned at the middle of the interturn insulating materials 5. This does not generate friction heat involved in conductor transition on the surfaces of the conductors and a compact and stable magnet can be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient mechanical strength eliminating quenching by winding a prepregnant tape over the outside surface and in the direction of radius of a pancake type coil and forming rigid spacers hardened by a heat and pressure treatment. CONSTITUTION:Around a bobbin 2 fixed on a coil stand 1, superconductor 3 is wound with interlayer insulation material to form a pancake type coil 8a by a heat and pressure treatment. A semihardened prepregnant tape 10 is wound around the coil 8a in the direction of radius at the several places radially. After winding the tape 10 preset turns, size adjusting spacers 11a, 11b are fitted inside and outside the coil 8a and firmly fixed by a pushing plate 12 and hardened by a heat and pressure treatment to make a rigid spacer 9. By this, the movement of the conductors 3 due to magnetic force is restricted. Moreover, the blocking of helium cooling passage and deterioration of cooling effects and quenching due to peeling off or slip at the bonded surface are prevented.
