    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infiltration water intake system which ensure the constant intake of a given amount of water, and can be repaired when having a trouble.
      SOLUTION: The infiltration water intake system includes at least one main pipe 1 made of a holeless pipe, a plurality of intake pipes 10 made of holed pipes that are connected to the main pipe 1 longitudinally of the main pipe 1 at given intervals, and a conduit pipe 22 which connects the main pipe 1 to a water collecting facility 47 on the ground. The main pipe 1 and intake pipe 10 are buried in the offshore underwater ground at a given depth, where seawater naturally infiltrating into the underwater ground is taken into the intake pipe 10 via each hole of the pipe 10, and the seawater is collected into the water collecting facility 47 via the intake pipe 10, main pipe 1, and the conduit pipe 22. A water collecting pit 23, via which the main pipe 1 communicates with the conduit pipe 22, is formed at a connection between the main pipe 1 and the conduit pipe 22, and is provided with a check hole, through which a worker enter the pit 23, on a part of the pit 23. The worker is thus allowed to enter the water collecting pit 23 to carry out repair work when a trouble occurs.
