    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel segment connecting structure, easily reducing the manufacturing cost for a tunnel segment, and hardly causing large stress concentration on a fitting part of an anchor bar to an engagement hardware.
      SOLUTION: Segments B, K adjacent to each other in the tunnel circumferential direction are connected to each other by a connector 4 with joint surfaces 3 of the reinforced concrete-made segment bodies 2 abutted against each other, the inner peripheral surfaces 7 or the outer peripheral surfaces 8 of the segment bodies are formed as curved surfaces curved along the tunnel circumferential direction, the joint surfaces are formed as inclined surfaces inclined to normals L2 of the curved surfaces, and the connector 4 includes an engagement hardware 10 having an engagement part 9 facing the joint surface side and the anchor bar 11 buried in the segment body. The segments are relatively moved in the longitudinal direction of the tunnel, and connected to each other with the engagement hardwares engaged with each other. The engagement hardwares are fixed to the segment bodies, respectively, so that the engagement direction X of the engagement hardwares is inclined along the curved surfaces rather than in the right-angled direction to the joint surfaces.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield tunnel which enables the construction of not only a straight section but also a sharply curved section, while securing a clearance with a necessary length between an outer peripheral part of a segment and an inner peripheral part of a rear end of a shield machine, without the need for the use of the shield machine based on special specifications or the use of the segment with a small width.
      SOLUTION: In the shield tunnel, the straight section T1 and the sharply curved section T2 are constructed by using the many segments; the straight section T1 is constructed by using the first segment S1; and the section T2 is constructed by using the second segment S2 with an outer peripheral diameter D2 smaller than an outer peripheral diameter D1 of the first segment S1.
