    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact grains dryer for smoothly lifting grains. SOLUTION: In a drying box 1 long longitudinally and short laterally a grain collecting chamber 2, a drying chamber 3, and a storage chamber 4 are piled from lower to upper portion, and a grain lifting apparatus 5 is vertically provided, displaced on one side laterally at the center in the drying box 1 to construct a grains dryer. A grain collecting gutter 6 is provided longitudinally in the grain collection chamber 2, displaced on one side laterally, and front and rear lower spirals 7, 7 are provided on a bottom of the grain collecting gutter 6 for conveying grains opposite toward the grain lifting apparatus 5 at the center from longitudinal opposite ends. In the drying chamber 3 a hot air chamber 12, an air exhaust chamber 10, and left and right grain drying passages 11, 11 are disposed uniformly left and right, and an insertion hopper 19 is provided on the side where the front and rear lower spirals 7, 7 are displaced on left and right one side. Hereby, the hot air chamber 12 or the air exhaust chamber 10 can be disposed uniformly left and right without being deformed, whereby a lateral stream of dried air is uniformized, and feed grains are conveyed and supplied to the grain lifting apparatus 5 by the front and rear lower spirals 7, 7, so that grains in the grain lifting apparatus 5 can be prevented from clogging.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp the inside moisture values by a method wherein the number of times of measurements per one circulation of charged grain is calculated, a display is divided into two or more sections corresponding to the number of times of measurements, the measured values are respectively indicated on the sections of the display, and the previous measured values are moved and indicated corresponding to the movement of the grain. SOLUTION: When a basic screen is called and a switch 14 is turned on, grain is charged into a storage part from a hopper. Then, after a stop switch 16 is turned on to half sections once, a switch 15 is turned on to switch the screen to a grain sort/drying mode setting screen, and a grain sort setting switch 14 is pressed to set the sort and to set the drying mode. A moisture value is set by a moisture setting function switch. Measurements of moisture are carried out and indicated on a display 13 during drying. The display 13 is divided into two or more sections and the measurements carried out during one circulation of charged grain are displayed on the sections of the display 13. The moisture values measured in turn are indicated on the most significant section one after another, replacing the previous ones.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the predicting accuracy of a dry residual time even if the moisture value of unhulled rice is high by providing means for predicting the residual time from the initial moisture value of grain and providing control means for correcting the residual time in response to the moisture of the grain after a predetermined time is elapsed. CONSTITUTION: A hot air temperature sensor 60, an atmospheric temperature sensor 61, an exhaust air temperature sensor 62, and a full volume sensor 63 are connected to a controller 57, and further an elevator motor 19 for driving a grain elevator 11, a valve motor 65 for driving a feed valve 10, a motor 66 for driving a dust exhausting unit, and a thrower motor 67 for driving a thrower are connected to the controller 57. In addition, a moisture meter 26, an unhulled rice flow sensor 69, an igniter 38, a solenoid valve 46, a burner motor 29 and a wind pressure sensor 70 are also connected. Control means for predicting the time from the start of drying to the arrival of time at the target moisture value from the initial moisture value to correct the residual time to the end of drying in response to the moisture value after a predetermined time is elapsed is assembled with the controller 57.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent operation of a dryer from being automatically stopped even when a hot air temperature sensor malfunctions, by changing the subsequent combustion control over to the ON/OFF control in low combustion when a hot air temperature sensor for detecting a hot air temperature in hot air at the time of the ON/OFF control in high combustion malfunctions and fails to detect the hot air temperature. CONSTITUTION: An amount of fuel to be fed by an electromagnetic pump 21 can be changed over to two steps of large feed (high combustion) and small feed (low combustion) in relationship with a preset temperature, and a combustion system is ON/OFF-controlled at intervals of predetermined time which is preset and stored. When a hot air temperature sensor 33 malfunctions and fails to detect a hot air temperature during operation of controlling high combustion by a burner, a control unit 38 controls to change the control of high combustion by the burner over to the control of low combustion. Further, when the sensor malfunctions, the abnormal state is displayed on a monitor display unit at the surface part of a controller panel.
