    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impulse charger for a vehicle engine easily installable even in a small installation space by simplifying the driving control to reduce the number of part items, manufacturable at low cost, and capable of preventing noise from occurring while an impulse valve is operated. SOLUTION: This impulse charger for a vehicle engine is so installed as to communicate with the intake runner of the vehicle engine, and increases the volumetric efficiency of intake air by controlling the opening/closing of the intake runner. The impulse charger comprises: an impulse block 20 in which an intake hole 11 so formed therethrough as to communicate with the intake runner is formed; the impulse valve for opening/closing the intake hole; a drive means 30 for generating a continuous driving force for driving the impulse valve; and link units 40 which are joined with each other through at least one link members and which transmit the driving force from the drive means to the impulse valve. The continuous driving force by the drive means is transmitted to the impulse valve through the link units to open/close the impulsive valve at a specified interval. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
