    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pressure adjusting device capable of reducing cost, by forming a fuel pipe as a small diameter resin pipe, without causing the problem on design such as a layout of the fuel pipe.
      SOLUTION: This fuel pressure adjusting device 40 is formed in the fuel pipe 30 for supplying fuel pressurized by a fuel pump 29 to a fuel injection device 26. At least a partial section of the fuel pipe 30 expands in its fuel passage direction or the orthogonal direction to the fuel passage direction, and the volume of a fuel passage of the partial section increases-decreases, and a pressure variation in the fuel pipe 30 is restrained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure which can mount a fuel pump easily on a fuel tank and maintain the functional components of the fuel pump.
      SOLUTION: In this support structure of a fuel pump, engagement brackets 11 are provided to the insert hole 9 of the fuel tank 1, an upper mounting part 18 supported on the peripheral edge of the insertion hole 9 is formed on the fuel pump 8, an elastically deformable retainer 30 locked to the engagement bracket 11 is provided, the retainer 30 is locked to the engagement bracket 11, and the fuel pump 8 is supported on the fuel tank 1 through the retainer 30 interposed therebetween. The engagement brackets 11 include, respectively, first opening parts 42, 43 for swingably locking one end of the retainer 30 and second opening parts 53, 54 for fixing the other end of the retainer 30 while the retainer 30 locked to the first openings 42, 43 is elastically deformed and the upper mounting part 18 of the fuel pump 8 is pressed against the fuel tank 1.
