    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple spatter removal device which is small and inexpensive and a large number of which are set.
      SOLUTION: A guide groove 13 is formed in a stay 12, and a rotary cylinder 14 is turned through the guide groove 13. A front blade 15 and a side blade 16 are attached to the rotary cylinder 14. When a cylindrical nozzle 32 is lowered, the rotary cylinder 14 is turned while going down. This turn allows a spatter 34 to be cut by the blades 15, 16. A spatter removal device 10 can turn the front blade 15 and the side blade 16 without using any motor. Thus, the spatter removal device 10 is compact and lightweight, and manufactured at a low cost. As a result, a large number of spatter removal devices can be arbitrarily arranged; a welding worker can remove spatters by using the spatter removal device nearby, and the efficiency of the welding work is improved.

      SOLUTION: According to the snow blower, an auger elevating lever is switched to a position other than a 'manual lowering' position, at a step ST07, and therefore lowering of the auger is terminated. Then, a cylinder operating period Td up to the termination is read. In the automatic rising mode, at a step ST10, the elevating cylinder is expanded over the period Td, which means that the auger is returned to a height assumed immediately before the manual lowering operation. Therefore, since the auger is at the height assumed immediately before the manual lowering operation, the snow blower can recede without a problem.
