    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device in which a pad part can be easily fixed to a stopper part when assembled and which is hardly subjected to aged deterioration.SOLUTION: In the pedal device, the pad part 2 having a pad 20 for receiving tread force of a driver is fitted into a stopper bracket 3 to be fixed by snap fit. The pad 20 is connected to a pad side fitting part 21 of the pad part 2 by a hinge part 22, and in the pad side fitting part 21, an elastically deformable engagement pawl 23 and a fitting pawl 24 having rigidity higher than that of the engagement pawl 23 are formed. The engagement pawl 23 is engaged with a fitting part 33 provided in a stopper side engagement part 31 of the stopper bracket 3, the fitting pawl 24 is inserted into the an insertion part 32 provided in the stopper side engagement part 31, and the pad part 2 is fixed to the stopper bracket 3 by snap fit.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take measures for the case that an overcurrent is generated due to a failure of a control device, and to prevent the generation of an entire uncontrollable state when restored, in an accelerator pedal device which is suitably added with reaction forces by a motor actuator.SOLUTION: A motor control circuit 7 which performs control for generating the reaction forces in both directions of a pedal-in direction and a return direction of an accelerator pedal by forwardly and reversely rotating an electric motor 6b of an actuator 6 is constituted of a bridge circuit, and a fuse 12 is arranged in only a passage in which a current is made to flow in the pedal-in direction. Since the displacement of the accelerator pedal in the pedal-in direction against an intention of a driver can be prevented, and also the drive control by the actuator can be performed in the return direction of the accelerator pedal, reaction force control when the driver pedals in the accelerator pedal becomes possible, and the deterioration of productivity of the accelerator pedal device can be prevented compared with the case that the reaction force control is wholly stopped when the fuse is broken.
