      SOLUTION: In this open stay fixing part structure of a horizontally hinged door of a vehicle, an opening of a tail gate part on the rear face is opened/ closed by the horizontally hinged door. The bracket 11 is fixed inside a part covered by the bumper face 9 of the rear part of the vehicle. A fixing part of one end of the open stay 8 is formed at the tip of the bracket by longitudinally inserting and fixing a nut 6 (15). The fixing part to which the nut is fixed is exposed outside the bumper face from a hole 10 formed on the bumper face.

A wall part 32 located at the surface opposing the stop projection 17 in the stop hole 32 is formed in such a state of tilting that an end located at the root of the stop projection 17 is projected. The connecting part 30 is protected from dropping out of the grasping peaces 14, 15 by stopping the wall part 32 in the stop projection 17.
