      SOLUTION: The above object is achieved by the control unit of the internal combustion engine, which is characterized in that it comprises an electric motor having a connection means for connecting with the internal combustion engine, and a stop means for stopping the internal combustion engine when a predetermined stop condition is met, and it starts the internal combustion engine by operating the electric motor when a connection command to the connection means is continued for a predetermined time or more.
