    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a stable toner layer even in a one-component developing machine performing development by rotating a developing roll, on which a toner thin layer is formed, from a lower side to an upper side at a position where the developing roll is opposed to a photoreceptor. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic device is provided with a toner supply chamber for supplying toner to a developing roll and a toner recovery chamber for recovering the toner regulated by a regulating blade, and the toner supply chamber and the toner recovery chamber are separated by a sheet type member. Thus, the constitution of the developing machine capable of forming the stable toner layer even in the one-component developing machine performing the development by rotating the developing roll, on which the toner thin layer is formed, from the lower side to the upper side at the position where the developing roll is opposed to the photoreceptor is provided. Furthermore, the developing device is applied to eliminate restrictions on the arrangement of one-component development, thus the more compact and stable electrophotographic device is provided.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain secular density fluctuation and irregular density at the time of recording a solid image by setting the rotational circumferential speed of a developing roll higher than the surface speed of a photoreceptor and setting the rotating speed of the developing roll so that toner amount supplied to the photoreceptor may be larger than the toner amount by which sufficient image density is obtained. SOLUTION: The rotational circumferential speed of the developing roll 1 is set to be higher than the surface speed of the photoreceptor 10, and the rotating speed of the roll 1 is set so that the toner amount supplied to the photoreceptor 10 by the roll 1 may be larger than the toner amount by which the sufficient image density is obtained. Furthermore, developing bias is set so that the toner amount at the time of developing may be smaller than the toner amount supplied to the photoreceptor 10 by the roll 1. Thus, when the toner adhesive amount of a toner thin film on the roll 1 is reduced with time, the rate of the shifting of the toner on the roll 1 to the photoreceptor 10 is increased because of the lowering of the electrification amount, so that the toner amount by which an electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor 10 is developed becomes stable in substance.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the effect exerted on a recording image by the fluctuation of traveling speed given to a photoreceptive belt or an intermediate transfer belt at the contact/uncontact action time of a printing process and to obtain a high-quality image by arranging a belt elongation absorbing mechanism on the downstream side from the belt position of a toner image carrier with which the printing process executing the contact/uncontact action is brought into contact and arranging a belt rotation obstruction member on the upstream side therefrom. SOLUTION: A belt extending mechanism 11 by a spring 13 is arranged on a belt fluctuation absorbing roller 12 arranged at the lower part of a position with which a developing machine is brought into contact. Besides, a belt fluctuation suppressing roller 14 arranged at the upper part of the position with which the developing machine is brought into contact, is used as the driving roller of the photoreceptive belt. Besides, a rotational load imparting member 15 imparting rotational load to this roller and constituting of a leaf spring-state member is arranged. The fluctuation of the photoreceptive belt caused by the contact/uncontact action of the developing machine is absorbed because the roller 12 is reversely rotated and pulled up. The rotational load is imparted to the roller 14 by the imparting member 15 so as to suppress the fluctuation of rotational speed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image from becoming indistinct, when the remaining amount of toner inside a developing device is reduced, and thereby a specified layer is not formed on a developing roll. SOLUTION: This device is constituted so that a control blade 2 is held in press contact with the developing roll 1 by a specified pressing force of a pressure adjusting spring 3; an angle θ, formed by a perpendicular and a tangent on a contact point where the control blade 2 is held in contact with the developing roll 1, is made possible to be varied with an axis at the contact point of the control blade 2 and the developing roll 1; then the developing device weight detector 7 is made possible to sense the residual toner inside the developing device by weight of the developing device and to move the control blade 2 up and down across a fulcrum 9; the angle formed by the perpendicular and the tangent on the contact point where the control blade 2 is held in contact with the developing roll 1, is varied corresponding to the residual toner inside a hopper 10; therefore the toner layer of the specific thickness is formed on the developing roll 1, regardless of the decrease in the remaining amount of toner.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a developing device capable of forming a stable toner layer having a specified thickness of the toner supplied especially on the toner carrier of a one-component developing device suitable for user maintenance by means of a friction controlling member and realizing a stable toner electrification. CONSTITUTION: The controlling member 24 forming the toner thin layer on the toner carrier 21 by being brought into press-contact with the toner carrier 21 is constituted of a means for pressing the member 24 to a toner carrier 21 side and a toner seal member 26 preventing the toner entering the peripheral part of the pressing means. Since the member 24 is provided with the means for pressing the member 24 to the toner carrier 21 side and the means for preventing the toner entering the pressuring means 25, so that toner flow becomes adequate, the toner is prevented from entering the peripheral part of the means 25, and pressing force is stabilized, the toner thin layer which is always stable can be formed. Thus, the compact developing device suitable for user maintenance can be provided at a low cost with a simple constitution.

    • PURPOSE:To realize a device constitution for forming the toner thin layer of stable thickness without damaging a developing roll, with a compact and single constitution, in a one-component developing device. CONSTITUTION:A regulating member 5 is in a shape having the bent part of an L-type, a U-type, etc.. and the regulating member 5 and a pressurizing means 4 for pressing/pressurizing the regulating member 5 on the developing roll 3 are parallelly disposed. Moreover, the regulating member 5 is arranged so that the bent part of the regulating member 5 comes to the upstream side in the rotational direction of the developing roll at a position where the regulating member 5 comes into contact with the developing roll 3. On the other hand, the bent part of the regulating member 5 located on the upstream side in the rotational direction of the developing roll at the position where the regulating member 5 comes into contact with the developing roll 3, is a curved surface about R 0.3-5. Further, as the regulating member 5 having the bent part of the L-type or the U-type or so, a member manufactured driving aluminum, etc., is used. In this method, the contact part of the regulating blade 5 is in the shape of the curved surface, so that a proper toner layer can be formed on the developing roll without damaging its surface.
