At the time of diagnosing, the output of the comparing circuit 6 comes to be off, and when the result of the detecting circuit 13 is normal, a trouble bit comes to be off, diagnosing reading data 12 are selected and the diagnosing is executed. When the result of the detecting circuit 13 is abnormal, a trouble bit 10 comes to be on and the trouble data of a trouble data generating circuit 5 are outputted.

    • PURPOSE:To transmit data for a longer transmission distance by serially converting DC code data unchanged for 1/2 time slot and outputting it onto a bus as AC code data changed for 1/2 time slot and outputting said AC data onto the bus in parallel after converting it to unchanged code data. CONSTITUTION:Channel system control data from a central controller 1 is transmitted to a data converting and transmitting device 3 through a parallel bus 2 as DC code data unchanged for 1/2 time slot. This data from the data converting and transmitting device 3 is serially converted and is outputted onto a serial bus 4 as AC code data changed for 1/2 time slot. Answer data from channel system devices 71-7N pass the reverse route while being subjected to similar processings and are transmitted to the central controller 1. Thus, data is surely transmitted in case of AC data transmission even if the length of the whole of the channel system control bus is several hundreds meters, and the length of the bus is extended to about 10-fold conventional length.

    • PURPOSE:To easily discriminate a faulty line by providing a test data generating circuit, a changeover switch, a collation circuit and a discrimination circuit to 2-pair of directional duplicated lines through which a control device and a device to be controlled are connected. CONSTITUTION:In retrieving a faulty line, changeover switches 3a-3d of the controller side and changeover switches 4a-4d at the controlled device side are turned to the position 2 to send the test data from test data generating circuits 5a, 5b to transmission circuits 1a, 1c respectively. Reception circuits 2a, 2c receiving the test data send data to transmission circuits 1b, 1d via the switches 4a-4d and to collation circuits 6a, 6c via the reception circuits 2b, 2d and the switches 3b, 3d. Then the switches 4a-4d are turned to the position 3 and the similar test data are sent. Then the result of collation is discriminated by a discrimination circuit 7 to detect a faulty line.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the effect exerted on a recording image by the fluctuation of traveling speed given to a photoreceptive belt or an intermediate transfer belt at the contact/uncontact action time of a printing process and to obtain a high-quality image by arranging a belt elongation absorbing mechanism on the downstream side from the belt position of a toner image carrier with which the printing process executing the contact/uncontact action is brought into contact and arranging a belt rotation obstruction member on the upstream side therefrom. SOLUTION: A belt extending mechanism 11 by a spring 13 is arranged on a belt fluctuation absorbing roller 12 arranged at the lower part of a position with which a developing machine is brought into contact. Besides, a belt fluctuation suppressing roller 14 arranged at the upper part of the position with which the developing machine is brought into contact, is used as the driving roller of the photoreceptive belt. Besides, a rotational load imparting member 15 imparting rotational load to this roller and constituting of a leaf spring-state member is arranged. The fluctuation of the photoreceptive belt caused by the contact/uncontact action of the developing machine is absorbed because the roller 12 is reversely rotated and pulled up. The rotational load is imparted to the roller 14 by the imparting member 15 so as to suppress the fluctuation of rotational speed.
