    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk drive with an improved head positioning accuracy, while a head is vibrating.
      SOLUTION: A shaft 10 having a step 10a is fixed on a base 1. Upper and lower bearings 11 and 12 are arranged on an outer peripheral side of the shaft 10 along an axial direction. Respective outer rings 11a and 12a of the upper and lower bearings 11 and 12 are connected and fixed with a sleeve 13, and an arm 7 providing a magnetic head is fixed on the sleeve 13. A lower end face 12b1 of an inner ring 12b of the lower bearing 12 is brought in contact with the step 10a, and a bearing fixing member 14 is brought in contact with an upper end face 11b1 of an inner ring 11b of the upper bearing 11. Thus, the bearing fixing member 14 is fixed on the shaft 10.
