摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a required accuracy of rotation and bearing rigidity of a small spindle motor for such as magnetic disk drive, to realize mass production and reduce the cost. SOLUTION: A rotating shaft 2 of a spindle motor is supported by a slide bearing 4 having a radial bearing portion. The slide bearing 4 is a sintered bearing containing oil, a lubricating agent is interposed on the inner periphery of bearing and at a gap 17 between outer periphery of the shaft 2. On the inner peripheral surface of bearing, more than 3 of concentric circular surface 16 which is concentric with the center of the bearing and determines the smallest portion C1 of the gap 17 and an eccentric circular surface 15 eccentric from the center of bearing so as to be connected to the concentric circular surface 16 with the gap 17 gradually narrowed toward the shaft rotating direction are formed respectively. A relative ratio between a circular angle θ2 of the concentric circular surface 16 and a circular angle θ1 of the eccentric circular surface 15 is from 0.05 to 0.1, and the maximum gap C2 to the shaft 2 of the eccentric circular surface 15 is 2 to 6 times the minimum gap C1.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate sealed lubricating fluid from being discharged even if exposed top low environmental pressure by providing a check valve mechanism of fluid in the intermediate part of an axial oil feed hole and roatably supporting a shaft by receiving the feed of the lubricating fluid. SOLUTION: After coil feeding for sealing lubricating fluid 10 is performed from the upper end of an axial oil feed hole 16, a magnetic disc device whole body is put in a vacuum container and bubble which is mixed in injecting the lubricating fluid 10 and dissolved air which is held by the lube fluid 10 itself expanded and floated so as to be discharged mainly through the axial oil feed hole 16. When this vacuum state is released, the lube fluid 10 itself and the residual air in the lubricating fluid are contracted by atmospheric air and a deformable spherical body 22 is drawn into a small-diameter oil feed hole part 189 and pushed against the upper end opening part of the small-diameter oil feed hole part 18 so as to function as a plug. Secondly, a set screw 21 is screwed in a large-diameter oil feed hole part 17 and the deformable spherical body 22 is pushed down considerably. This constitution prevents the outer air from flowing in a lube fluid sump so that the lube fluid 10 is sealed.

In this way, even against a temperature rise and an environmental change, high accurate rotational performance can be maintained.

The winding structure is set so that the number of winding steps of the teeth top end parts (outer periphery side) of the divided cores become more than winding steps on its inner periphery side, a diameter of the teeth top end parts, after assembling the divided cores is set so as to be the same as the diameter of the teeth front end part at the time of winding the coil, and no extra or the lacks of crossover 7s exist by at and more than one slot between wound coils. SOLUTION: A bearing device is formed in such a manner that a rotary shaft 1 is fitted in the hole of a bearing 2 fixed on the inner periphery of a housing 3 provided at a front end with an opening and at a rear end with a cover, a groove pattern for generating a dynamic pressure is formed on the hole surface of a bearing 2/the outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft 1 to form a radial bearing, a thrust disc 4 having diameter larger than that of the shaft is arranged at the rear end of the rotary shaft 1, groove patterns for generating a dynamic pressure are formed on the front and rear surfaces of the thrust disc 4 to form a thrust bearing, and each bearing part is sealed with magnetic fluid 12 of a lubricant. A magnetic fluid seal 8 consisting of an axially magnetized annular permanent magnet 9 and first and second magnetic poles 10 and 11 are arranged on the front end face of the bearing 2. The rotary shaft 1 is sealed by magnetic fluid seal, and further a recessed groove 13 is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft l positioned facing the permanent magnet 9 to deviate a magnetic field, magnetic fluid is held at a second magnetic pole, and movement to a first magnetic pole is suppressed.

Also, tapered land-like grooves 30 are provided on both end faces of the bearing 7 to form an upper thrust bearing 18 between the other side end face of a thrust collar 21 and the one side end face of the bearing 7 and a lower thrust bearing 19 between the one side end face of a thrust plate 22 and the other side end face of the bearing 7 and enclose magnetic fluid so that the rotary system is supported in the direction of thrust by the dynamic pressure effect generated by the rotation. Thus, the moment rigidity can be improved.
