    • PURPOSE:To hold the lowering of turbine output minimum by changing over the steam pressure set value of a second-stage heater, lowering the aim set pressure and reducing thermal stress produced in the system of the second-stage heater at the time of a failure of a first-stage heater. CONSTITUTION:When steam set pressure of a second-stage heater is PA and steam temperature is TA at the time before an failure of a first-stage heater 4, in the case where the first-stage heater 4 gets out of order and the steam set pressure of the second-stage heater is lowered down to PB, steam temperature is lowered from PA to PB. Since the temperature difference between high pressure turbine exhaust and second-stage heating steam is lessened by changing over the set pressure of the second-stage heating steam and thermal stress yielded in a second-stage heater 5 is reduced, continuous operation of the second- stage heater 5 is allowed. Therefore, the lowering of turbine output is held minimum because the temperature of steam supplied in the second-stage heater is heightened as compared with the case where the first-stage heater is stopped and first steam is bypassed to the second-stage heater 5.

    • PURPOSE:To hold a rise in turbine revolving speed down to low, by quickly closing a valve to the extent of the throttlled desired position calculated by an operating parameter just before the time when such a situation as requiring the quick throttle of a main steam control valve occurs in a transformer plant. CONSTITUTION:In a transformer plant, when load runback or first cutback is produced there and thereby necessitation to do the quick throttle of a main steam control valve occurs, a throttled desired position of the control valve is calculated on the basis of an operating parameter just before the occurrence. And, the control valve is throttle down to the extent of this desired position. With this constitution, a rise in turbine revolving speed is checked down to the lowest and, what is more, disturbances to boiler feed control or the like are well reducible.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent abnormal heating from being caused by windage loss in a thermal power plant with a turbine by-pass line, by detecting the closed state of a ventilator valve at the time of joint operation after the starting of a turbine to forcedly set a regulating valve at a degree of opening not lower than a prescribed level, at the initial stage of the opening of the valve. CONSTITUTION:Steam generated by a boiler 1 flows into a high-pressure turbine 3 through a regulating valve 2 and performs work. The steam is thereafter supplied to a medium-pressure turbine 6 and a low-pressure turbine 7 through a reheater 4 and an intercept valve 5. At the time of shifting from the turbine starting to initial loaded operation, a steam flow rate signal 16 is processed through a regulating valve flow rate section 17 and an intercept valve flow rate section 18 to control the regulating valve 2 and the intercept valve 5. When a contact 20 is turned on by the closure of a ventilator valve 12, a minimum regulating valve opening degree bias 21 is applied to a higher level selection circuit 19 to open the regulating valve 2 stepwise and keep it at the minimum degree of opneing until the output of the regulating valve flow rate section 17 becomes higher than the bias.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate dispersion of the results of human measuring, and improve work efficiency by inputting in form of an image the thickness of a molded part whose gap is measured calculating the thickness of the part thereof, by means of a presonal computer and judging whether the gap is a proper value or not. CONSTITUTION:A lead wire 8 sandwiched between a packing and a steam turbine rotor is brought in pressure-contact and molded. After that, the steam turbine rotor is hung up, and the lead wire 8 is taken out. The lead wire 8 is put on an image scanner 4, and the image of the lead wire 8 is inputted by the image scanner 4. The image is transfered to a personal computer 7 through a telecommunication line 5. Calculation process of the input image thereof is carried out by the personal computer 7, and the calculated value is presented as a practically measured value. The design value of a packing gap is inputted into the personal computer 7 beforehand, and the value is compared with the practically measured value, so that it is judged whether the practically measured gap is suitable or not, and secular change is suitable or not.
