    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite cable that prevents generation of transmission loss caused by bending of an optical fiber even when the composite cable is laid at a location where the cable is bent, and is suitable for transmitting signals with high capacity such as digital signals at high speed. SOLUTION: The composite cable is formed by collectively covering a strand made by twisting a plurality of insulated core wires having insulating covers on conductors, and the tape-shaped optical fiber formed by arranging a plurality of optical fibers in parallel with one another with a collective covering member, and the composite cable has an approximately rectangular cross sectional shape.       SOLUTION: In the composite cable 1 wherein a strand 2 made by twisting a plurality of insulated core wires 2a having insulating covers on conductors and the tape-shaped optical fiber 3 arranging a plurality of optical fibers 3a in parallel are collectively covered by a collective coating member 5, the collective coating member 5 is arranged with a gap 4 between at least one side face of a pair of side faces facing by locating in a thickness direction of the collective coating member and the tape-shaped optical fiber.
